Outdoor Auto Seasons?

Okey Dokey :)

Whats the temps like in Aug - October, you'll need around 90-100 to get a good auto finished.

The ideal growing temps should be between 75-85f during the day and at night time a 10f drop in temperature.

Humidity will also play a role as you wont get to control it - so if it is really humid in DR - you'll need a mold resistant strain!
I'm not an out doors grower, but there are plenty here who can help!

It's good to start making plans now so that you can located the appropriate seeds in time before you go to DR!

are you sure about the temp for aug-oct? because i was worried because its actually always that temp. 90-100 and iwas worrried it might be too hot, and yeah DR can get pretty humid but it might be different depending where you go,

time it so that during veg, there's high humidity, and then for flowering the humidity should be low. If the humidity is always high then def go with a mold resistant strain and try keep away from strains which have a high bud density. Also try plant in an area which is open to wind. this will help prevent mold too.

since i only plan on doing one big run to make funds for an indoor op, and ill only do another run if all goes well, what ill do is buy pick n mix of as many strains as ican and see what does best, or pick out smaller selection of what ithink n research would be best n grow multiple planta of each?

In my opinion, it might be better to research your strains first. I can see a lot of wasted money in a pick and mix type approach.

Good luck man!

Thanks
n yeah i feel the same about the pick n mix....I've been researching DP Autos for over a year and from what I've learned and researched, DP's Autos are arguably the top Autos on the Market and im leaning towards their strains, also top yielders too

Research your local weather. Late summer hurricane season is probably the hottest and most humid time the year. Even though DR is in the tropics northern hemisphere winter is probably the coolest and driest time down there. Also elevation will moderate. Check out your local micro-climate. And, good growing!

Just an observation - but since it's an outdoor grow and temps + sunlight are relatively static throughout the year it would make sense to start earlier in the year with a view to having them all cropped by mid June. DR is Hurricane territory and one direct hit could ruin a years worth of work :nono:
