Hello Bakvendtland,

My advise for you is to find a strain that has been proven, to be able to finish in our climate (I too am from Scandinavia, Denmark). Then you should be perfecly able to get a great harvest from your autoflowers. Send me a PM and I will give you a link to a great Danish forum/shop where I bought my seeds (and cheap too). The owner is very nice and I am sure he will deliver to Norway. I know that many of my people are growing more than one set of auto flowers during the summer. This can be done because the auto flowers typically only need 8-12 weeks to mature. Therefore you are able to start the first set of plants up already in the early / mid-April (indoors, under lights) and then plant them out in early / mid May.

We use 1 liter milk cartons as pots to start the plants up in. It provides enough space for the plants can stand there for a month. The plants also show sex after a month, and you can now sort all the males from the females. The dimensions of the boxes is 7 x 7 x 21 cm, which means that you can have over 200 plants standing under a square meter artificial light. That is one set of roughly 100 female plants.

If you plan to grow guerilla style, then you should take into account that also form really will be many of your plants are eaten by snails / deer and whatever else is available out of the rough nature. In addition, there will also be plants where the buds will perish because of mold.

Although I must say, that I am not an experienced grower, you are welcome to check out my log where I am growing some 'Blue Widows' sold on the forum by Danish breeders: https://www.autoflower.org/f6/ben-dover-jack-mehoffs-secret-garden-56%B0-n-latitude-33095.html.

Best of luck,

Ben Dover & Jack Mehoff :bone:

Autos should do well in your climate. The original ruderalis that they were bred from evolved in colder climates in Russia and/or Canada as a response to the shorter growing season and colder temperatures.

hey bro good luck with this, just check my posts via my profile, some tips there for ya. Im at lat 53 up in the mountains of wales and a few seasons under my belt now, think june to august is best. Saying that i put some whitewidow autos out 2 weeks ago and they are doing ok. Germinate now or very soon, indoors for a few weeks then put them out.
Best of luck with the sun.
