If I bury pots in the ground for a large photoperiod (free seeds so...) will it restrict the plants enough to keep their size down? I know in the greenhouses any larger plants that have to be sold in one or two gallon pots are deliberately size restricted as they are moved between winter cold frames into the sales areas. They are trimmed and made manageable by pot size restrictions. I was given Bruce Banner seeds and after reading about them there is no way I'm letting them get as large as their stated finish size. I know the yield will be smaller but then I don't care.
Alternative is topping and LST?
Thank you all for any ideas.
