My own breed
Have a girl standing outside and days are more rainy, shorter and colder.
No amber trichomes yet and frost usually comes in October so 4-5 weeks more and I have to harvest(unless she got molded by then).
How much longer do an outdoor grow take vs an indoor grow?

I don’t think the flower period duration is effected by indoor vs outdoor - it’s a matter of genetics and possibly nutrients.

Got molded her as well so I took her down, left the two lowest branches to see how long they can last outside :)

Gotcha. Next year you could try building a rain shield over her. Also, defoliating can help with airflow which is the key to minimizing mold. But, if your climate is damp, mold is going to be a problem no matter what. Did you grow a strain that’s known to be mold resistant?

It’s danish genetics, supposed to be mold resistant.
But let’s face it, this was my first outdoor grow, I think I am more to blame than the genetics ;)
The growspot was far from good, could have got several more sun hours by moving the spot just a little bit.
I’m learning as I’m growing :)

Yeah, I hear ya. We ALL are - even the experts on here are still learning. You might also try incorporating a regimen of an anti fungal like Serenade. It’s an organic fungicide. And even placing fans to get airflow if the air is humid and stagnant. Airflow is your best weapon against mold That and sunshine, like you mentioned.

A few tips for you on general mold control.

- try to find a spot that gets early morning sun. The faster daily dew dries out each day, the better off the plant will be
- try to find a spot that gets constant wind, wide open spaces have better circulation
- research strains like crazy!! If you live in a really harsh place, check out UK based sites for tips on what strains are running well in the cold damp
- a dew shield if stealth is not too much of a concern works on shielding rain and nightly dew
