Oxygen Absorbers for Dried Dehydrated Food and Emergency Long Term Food Storage

Says....oxygen absorbers made by OxyFree with indicator freshness pill/eye. When used with proper packaging and sealing, the oxygen in the packaging is greatly reduced. Our absorbers bring the oxygen level down reliably to .01% or less. These Absorbers are perfect when combined with 5-6 gallon Mylar Bags. The benefits of using oxygen absorbers are as follows: * Significantly improves keeping qualities of polyunsaturated fats and oils * Helps retain fresh-roasted flavor of coffee and nuts * Prevents oxidation of spice oleoresins present in spices themselves and in seasoned foods * Prevents oxidation of vitamins A, C and E * Extends life of pharmaceuticals * Inhibits mold in natural cheeses and other fermented dairy products * Delays non-enzymatic browning of fruits and some vegetables * Inhibits oxidation and condensation of red pigment of most berries and sauces...

So of course I was thinking about my cured dank...this should prolong the potency n all da goodies..along with the 62% boveda and vacumning them...should be able to really store for a very long time...
If any 1 has any input on these please chime in...

heres a link..there are some different ones to just havent went too deep into them...

Sweet!
I just bought some.
I have lots that I dont want to waste it and am not sure what to do for long term storage.
So I figure with the boveda62 one of these Oxy packs I can store my meds in masson jars for a long time.
Thanks for the tip.

Let us know when you get them Joe ... they sound interesting ... :Sharing One:

Did some research on them last fall. They do work to remove oxygen but also generate some heat. They activate quickly on exposure to air. Some people had issues where they purchased some in bulk and when they opened the bag they all activated. Recommendation was to only get ones that are individually packaged.

Good luck and post your results
