Hi AFN Friends,

It's that time again for a new grow report. This time around I'm trying the Paradise Seeds Auto Variety grow. I'm going to run one of each strain in the pack (Whiteberry, Vertigo and Wappa). I'm running the same set-up as always:

*400w HPS Lighting
*FoxFarm Soil 50/50 mix (Ocean Forest & Happy Frog)
*FoxFarm Nutes (Full Line)
*Sucanat (Organic Cane Sugar)
*Botanicare Sweet
*5lb. CO2 Canister

This time around I'm trying something different and I would like to get some feedback from everyone on this. I usually run my light cycle on 18/6, like I would on a photoperiod veg cycle. But, this time I'm trying the light cycle on a 20/4 schedule. The first little girl just popped her head out and I'm growing them 1 week apart from one and other. So, I won't have a photo update for a couple of weeks. Talk with you all again soon!!

:bong:

The extra 2 hours of light should help out your girls. Do you think the CO2 makes a noticeable increase in yield? :smokebuds:

The CO2 definitely makes my grows healthier #greenthumper. I really notice the effects of the CO2 when it gets later into the flowering phase and the sugar and resin production drastically increase adding more weight to the buds.

:pimp:

Got 3 Wappa Autos in my tent along with a Think Different! Good luck!

20/4 is what ive been runnin', The Whiteberry started flowering @ 14 days. Nice and stinky. Good strain.

Hey man, i'm just finishing up some paradise seeds, pandora and vertigo. The vertigo finish real nice and quick and so far have massively out crystaled the pandora. they look like some amazing smoke. (don't seem to be massive yielders but quality looks great)

Grow Update #1

Hi AFN Friends,

We're well into the 4th week of the current grow and we have some good things happening and we have some strange things happening. All 3 of my girls are growing on schedule. But, I'm getting some really extreme deformations with my Whiteberry Auto. It almost looks like what a cannabis plant would look like in the mind of Salvador Dali! I remember when I grew out some photo Whiteberry awhile back the growth started off a bit awkward, probably because of the Blueberry genetics, but eventually worked itself into a normal growth pattern. This time however, I don't think I'm going to see signs of normal growth recovery. I'm just going to let her do what she's doing and assess the situation as we move along. The Wappa Auto and Vertigo are growing exactly as they should be. Here's some pics, let me know what you all think of these.

I look forward to hearing from you guys. Talk to you all soon.

Hey mate, yeah that whiteberry is an odd looking creature. She's obviously a very strange shape already and has some crazy curling and crinkling going on. Can you tell us if there is much discolouration of the leaves tho? (are the mre recent leaves looking a healthy green? I'm just asking because sometimes these girls can bounce back and if they've had some level of stress it sometimes makes for a monster of a plant. at the moment it looks like its almost LSTing itself and there's obviously some interesting branching going on. definately an interesting creature to keep me eye on. ;)

can't wait to see how your vertigo comes on too, with it's own space, mine have only ever been slightly cramped by the flowering stretch period so not reached full single plant potential.

looking good brv :booya:love Paradise Seeds was going order them, but end up picking the Automaria 2,i be coming along for the ride brv :booya:look forward to seeing more update good green kamra to them girls :peace: kudo

Whiteberry deformation

I got a whiteberry auto @ 4 1/2 wks and it has the same deformations. It started rite otta seed and lookd just like yours! It has balanced out some but still has the wierd shriveling leaves, but..... As said it cud be smthn special, hopin' mine is.

***It's flowering pretty good and all looks healthy so yea that wud be nice to have a monster. There's allot of bud points so.?
**I personaly dont think its a nutrient or ph or stress of any sort cuz I planted a second one and it's lookin normal in comparison with the same set-up, soo as 1 said, genetics hey? I think so 2.:toke:
