Some pics as promised! I would include a pic of the germinated seed...but not much to look at.
The first pic is over my SolarFlare. Its a pretty small unit with not alot of heat creation if you have adequate venting. I plugged a Killawatt up to it for those of you wondering what the actual output is. Its a respectable 160 watts. If you do the math it generates 4 watts per LED...that is pretty astounding. There are 40 LEDs in the array do the math you get 4 watts. Most units this size or intent are 1, 2 something or 3 watts if your lucky. Nearly all the reviews of this thing have been positive as well. Its also 1about 95% Americans made, with the 5% being parts from the EU. Not some cheap ass crap. 4 watts equates to excellent light penetration through out the plant.
I think the high wattage per LED is achieved with the very large heat sink that is attached to the circuit board.
Thats my tent there its 2ft x 2ft x 4ft...small one. I have a much larger one but this is going to be a small grow...still plenty of upwards room though.
For the nutes thats my nute line up. If your wondering why I have so many I got a great deal on a Hydro store about a year and a half ago that was going out of business. Ive got Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow/Bloom, Big Bud, Carboload, Bud Candy. Botanicare Cal-Mag, Dutch Masters Silica, and Final Phase for flushing.
I used Final Phase in my last grow...don't think it did squat. That was a freebie but I would not buy that product. I find that Big Bud, Cal-Mag, and Silica to be the most beneficial of the bunch outside of the base nutrients. Usually I add Cal-Mag and Silica with every watering. Usually whatever base nutrients you use have very little to none of that and plants can utilize both immensely. Alot of issues are solved with Cal-Mag. Other then Cal-Mag and Silica I will not be giving it anything till it hits flowering. The soil should contain everything it needs and its about 60-70 days total for Auto Wappa.
I know alot are into Organic natural nutes. I used to in the past but was not overly pleased with the output. Changing to this regimen created massive plants for myself. I can post some pics of past grows. I find that a good flushing removes any of that anyhow.
Anyhow enjoy!
