So after a little (and by a little I mean allot) research I've done on perpetual growing, I decided i wanted to run my own operation. After a little more research and some planning i thought how would this work if i ran this with autos.
At first i assumed a perpetual grow Had to be ran with photos, since you need mothers, clones ect...

Now correct me if im wrong but autos would obviously be the rout to go, especially for a noobie. Lets say you want to harvest 5 plants every two weeks, throw 5 seeds in soil, or which ever median you choose...repeat this process until you have 25 plants growing. After the first batch is done, replace with new seeds and your cycle has began.

All plants can be grown under the same lights in the same room, no need for separate rooms, no need for mothers or clones. The only worries you really have is should you keep buying seeds from the seed banks or breed your own with regular seeds.

Let me know what you guys think. I would love to hear details from someone who is or has had a perpetual grow with autos and how you ran your operation. Thank you guys in advance:smokebuds:

I have been running perpetual grows for a while now and it works exactly how you explained.
the thing I love about perpetual growing is the ability to have something new every week or two. the flexibility is great and I often experiment with different pot sizes.(usually when I am low on space and the pots get smaller)

one thing I did add to the grow room when I started growing perpetually is a couple of clip on lights, fitted with 6400k cfl bulbs.
I found the babies were too far from the light and the early growth suffered, so I had two options, find something to raise the plants or add lights for the babies.

The one thing you definitely need is a good supply of seeds, preferably feminised. So if I was you I would get my two favourite strains and cross them to get a good supply. If you feminise them it would help you out a lot in your perpetual grows. its always good to have some seed in the bank to fall back on.

:Stones slap:
Sounds like you have the plan, if you go with
Fem seeds it should work. Ever try CS?

Me being a noobie, and not knowing how to feminize seeds, I would def have to stock up on fem seeds from the banks. And nick what is a cs?

Looks like a bunch of shit to learn, think ill leave that to the professionals and drop them a few bucks for there services (for now). Thanks for the link, learn something every day at afn
