OK so recently I've been playing around with sunshine advanced ultra coir and having great results. It's basically 50/50 peat and coco with added perlite. So working at my local grow shop, sometimes we get ripped bags of soil from the shopping and I get dibs on stuff for the low low! This week I was able to grab a compressed bail of sunshine advanced [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] aggregate plus 3.8 cu.. Basically the equivalent of promix BX. I also scored a bag of botanicare cocogro which is a Pre rinsed completely neutral coco medium. I have a nice sized bag of perlite [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] laying around, might be [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] either way. I'll b mixing these myself at about the same ratios as the advanced ultra coir. Except mine will have a little more perlite for extra drainage while the rest of the mix helps with drainage and water retention. This is a completely inert medium that works great for our autos and photos. I've had great results with the Pre bagged mix so I'm hoping my own Is pretty close to the same! Just figured I'd share this as I'm really loving the mix of the mediums.....
