That exactly what I thought but I've checked temps in pots and res and it's 17.8.
I actually bought the chiller second hand is it possible it could of been contaminated inside by some form of algae or root rot .what's the best way to treat root rot if that's what it is?
Thanks.
I keep asking do you see any slime or brown rust looking sediment on the water line of the buckets? If there is some we can move forward to the treatment, once you have the slime it can be managed but rarely beaten...
When I drain the pots back to water butt there is a bit residue on the air lines and the roots aren't perfectly white they are more of a off white to yellowish..
sorry for the delay in response but theres a couple of things that aren't made clear to me.
do I need to ph the water to 5.8 before mixing the tea
and what do I actually do with it
and what is it going to achieve would pythoff do the same job
can the tea be used at any time during the grow
many thanks to all that have helped so far
Is there anyone who can help with this tea I don't know how to mix it wether ph has got to be adjusted
Also how do I give it to the plants and how often.
Its no good just giving the info that I have been giving
take 2-3 gals of water in a 5 gal pail... and an old clean sock...rinse the sock good... then fill with a couple hand fulls of wormcastings... if you dont have a hydro store nearby go buy a container of fishing worms and toss the worm out and use that... then you will need the White shark or similar... couple scoops of great white... 3tbs of mollasses per gallon... then bubble for 24-72 hours or longer... its a tea... use 1 quart per 4 gals of rez... weekly... and I would highly recommend reading ALL of seymore buds posts, as he talks about slime, and additives...and its good reading for hydro facts..
