New Grower PH question

Hi all,

I am growing auto AK and Gorilla Glue in a small tent. Things are going well--in the 5th week of flowering and they are looking good.

My tap water has a PH of 7.8. I am using General Hydroponics solution to bring that down to 6.5 or so.

I have a couple of questions though:

1. Should I do the PH just before I water?

2. How stable is the PH once I get it set up? That is, can I leave the correctly PHed water and use it later?

Do you mean should you adjust the ph right before watering dude?
Yea you can leave your nutes pre mixed for the next few days no problem. Ph should stay stable but you can always check before you feed

Once set up, the pH should be fairly stable. But — check it before just to be sure.

I always check my PH before feeding/watering.

my water drifts up maybe 0.1 every 2nd day i guess as something evaporates away allways best to check,just incase you lif the wrong bottle or tub

I have to check and adjust the pH every time before feeding. We have hard water here, pH 8.5 straight from the tap! If I leave the adjusted nutes sits for a day, it will pH up so I have to check every time. It is a bit annoying but better safe than sorry. If you put it in a air tight container, the difference is minimal but it is just my case. Hope it helps.

Other than when I am suddenly brain dead and forget to ph, I never make a move unless I ph immediately prior to watering. The proverbial safer than sorry motto.
