the ph levels in my water butt keeps going up over night,
I'm only using rhizotonic root booster at the moment because my peat special mix already has feed in it for the first weeks of vege.
Why do i have to keep lowering my PH again before each feed ?
Also i was wondering if low temps at night will affect my growth rate im around 11/12 c in the dark, Is this acceptable ?
Thanx in advance all :)

Normal. I do it also. Ive heard its because your res is too weak. But I just usually do it once at the start, and then again the next day or in twelve hours and adhust accordingly with diluted ph down.

11/12c?Tempof water and tent? Yes it will slow down growth. And the air temp could severely hurt the plant... I know.. But then again.. some endure it. But 10c is low man. But for water temp that's def too low.

Thanks Cowboy i really appreciate the quick reply :)
yeah my water and night temps are about the same, i'll get myself an aquarium heater for my water and a small heater for the room.
its really difficult here this time of year, im growing in a garden shed with a 4x4x6 feet wood built room inside, were waking up to a frost most days now.
what are the best temps to maintain ?
And thanks again :)

What cowboy says is right.
The pH rises because of the uptake of Ions into your plant. This is normal and is good also! Your plant can absorb different minerals differently good at different pH values xD.
When your pH rises a bit but stays in a range of 5.5-6.5 its okay, under 5,5 the uptake of, for example Iron and Copper is so good that your plant can get toxicated. Above 6,5 your plant can't uptake several minerals and will get a deffeciancy.
Good Luck!

19-25c that's a wide range. I love 22-23c. But hey guy think about when your going to be flowering your gonna have so much control over your grow room temp, that you can lower it to like 15-17 at night, and hopefully you have colorful genetics! :dance2:

yeah i grew some dinafem white cheese last year (first ever grow)
and it had some amazing purple hues cos of my night time temps, i only grew the one plant but it turned out amazing !
it yielded 42 gm
This time i have 5 Kush n cheese and theyre not all doing so good, Two of them are very stunted with severely puckered leaves, i think its down to the feeds in the special mix being too strong for baby autos, theyre getting a good flush tonight to try and sort it out,
Is my thinking right ?

i have another question. during summer gone i took care of 30 photo's, cheese, and the temps were ridiculously high most of the time but they all turned out brilliantly. are photosensitive more hardy and easier to grow ? it seems that way to me.
I have an exodus cheese freebie that i have put on to use as a mother
Maybe i should revert to growing photo's till my skills grow ?
What do you think guys ? :)
