New Grower PH Soil Run Off / Lock Out / Why? / Best Fix? / So Upsetting dont laugh !!

Thanks Muddy for the feedback! :)
Ive bought a DI Resin filter today in place of an RO System.
It arrives tomorrow, so with any luck thats the end of my water troubles. Im also buying a larger water but to store my water in.

I got very upset with all the soil PH probes I bought and they all got dumped in the bin.
Not one of them worked... Im going hydro at some point. Although Ive just bought a load of soil from my mate :-/
So get this soil used up then I fancy RDWC.... Ive decided Diesel is my newest bestest pal and he does RDWC with an Alien system I fancy buying.
Yea Diesel me n yooz gonna be buddies :)

Anytime. I saw that post on the DI systems, very interesting. I'm going to look into them a bit more myself.

I'm on my third RDWC grow right now and finally getting the hang of it. I will always have some soil plants though. Just too attached to soil growing to stop totally.

I'm also a big diesel fan, in what I grow and what I drive.

Diesel car, diesel truck, diesel tractor. Sour Diesel Haze, Diesel Ryder, Diesel Matic, Himalayan Blue Diesel.

.. Yea and V10Diesel on here, your so right Diesel rocks

I see a little--RO talk.

Man the burden of making trips to the water station and those 5 gallon jugs.

Any suggestions on a simple RO the sink system. Easy to order, set up and use.

Cheers

Nothing changed, in fact things are still carrying on the same.
Leaves are falling way to fast for me.
Yes it was the inside hidden leaves, now I notice its big fan leaves off branches and not just from the central stem but still only fan leaves.
Nothing else and still not tip burn or other leaf marks.
This is running from bottom to top of the plants.

Look what came off just tonight

Ive got a day to wait for my RI Resin filter then plan on a good 20l flush per plant.
Would you flush with PH adjusted water or just as it comes?
Currently out the tap its PH 8.3. Not sure if the filter will change this.

Yea so flush with 20 litres of totally clean zero ppm water and then a few litres of half strength nutes.
Does that sound about right?

True,
It is important that we can see updated pictures of the plant as well as how many leaves you had to clean up.
The plant can tell us as much or more than the dropped leaves.
Some plants go through several leaf drops during bloom, it is usually strain dependent.
As Muddy said, they all began to drop them as the age.
Yours may be a combination of soggy medium and timing.
Those leaves do not look like you need to flush.

She is one hungry plant. What is the strain. No a sign of ph or nute burn on the leaves.

Going to be a big producer. She will be putting all her energy into flower production.

"Brown or yellow leaves and occasional yellowing of lower leaves is natural. Temperature extremes, chills and drafts, overfeeding, low humidity, not enough fresh air, overwatering, underwatering, underfeeding."

"Loss of foliage color, pale weak growth = Overwatering, lack of fertilizer, insufficient light, high heat."

To me looks like plant tissue has become oversaturated and may result in leaf loss. If the plants transpiration rate can't keep up it could be possible leaf loss--either a result of the absorption of too much water or a symptom. Just speculating. I have had the same issue here and there. Lots of info on net. Truly, not a science oriented person--just my speculations.

Like Muddy said--it is a leaf heavy plant.

Cheers

Thanks for the link G
Yea we are back to over watering. Arhhhhh its hard all this int it... Who bloody knows, not me thats for sure :)
They had a really good dry out from yesterday to today, the pots were nice and light. Just half a litre each for dinner tonight.

In the morning they will get another drink if needed but deffo kicking right back on the amount of litres going in.
Am I right in thinking they drink more in veg to grow out and then less during flower?

Thanks for your help!

True,
This happened on my last Magnum grow, they grew so fast and bushy that I was hoovering leaves out the grow room daily but it did not affect the plants. Hopefully briman will be along to give his experience on this as well.

If you want to double check the over watering then get yourself a moisture meter, hopefully you'll have more luck with these than the ph meters.
