PHOTO HELP NEEDED (sorry for the caps, just needed your attention)

Hey guys, so my friend has asked me for some help with diagnosing his plants. Firstly they're not autos so if someone wants to move this thread to a more appropriate setting then feel free to do so.
Here's all the info I could gather:
Hydro dwc set up, they're all cuttings from a big buddha cheese plant, PH is at 5.9 and EC at 600ppm. As I dont have much experience all I've been able to suggest so far is that it could be N def but I'd love it if I could get some responses from you guys that know your stuff, it's causing a fair amount of stress to say the least so the sooner we solve it the better He's only had the cuttings for two weeks - don't want them to die before they're up and running!

Hey Namvet, thanks for the speedy reply, nice to be reassured I was on the right path with the N def.. Im not sure that he has access to any more nutes with higher N value, could upping the ec/strength of the feed save them? Im not too educated on DWC but he was worried about pushing the EC too high and killing them? Once again thanks for all help in advance, can't thank you enough and I know my friend is gonna really appreciate the extra info
I've just spoken to him and he's using Canna Coco nutes but has only been using the part A- not sure if it's relevant but just trying to provide as much info as possible. He's a new grower I should have mentioned that too, im thinking the N value may have a higher ratio in the B part along with zinc and a few other - I've advised mixing a new batch of equal ratio of the A&B to see if solves the problem - if anyone objects or has a better answer please step in

Canna A&B should be mixed in equal portions, so if the guide says 4ml - it's 4ml of A .. give it a stir in, and then add 4ml of B and another stir ^_^

Edit.. btw - my Mystery plant has been identified as a Big Buddah Cheese (i'm using canna coco A&B too - just not DWC)

Yeah i've slowly just figured all that out by reading for 20 mins, not something my friend is fond of But as he will, I greatly appreciate all the responses

I agree, they need more N. Any 2 part nutrients like the Coco A & B always should be used together. That's probably the issue right there. Their suggested range is 560 - 1260 ppm, so he should be good at 600 for plants that young. I think they will be fine once he adds in the B part of the nutrients.

Thanks for confirming Muddy, he's already so happy and has asked me to thank AFN again, the lights come on at 7pm so he's gonna amend the water then and hopefully job done!

:clap: yea they look mighty hungry but other wise look like good healthy cuttings.... Instead of amending the water, Id suggest dumping the res and put new solution in there with the proper nutes.... They will bounce back fine I am sure! Sending your friend a big :gthumb: karma cloud his way!
