Hey sorry ta hear that pL, its same as losing a member of family in my eyes,I know some people don't get it ,but they are family, sorry for ya loss pal, I lost my pal two years ago ish still ain't had the heart ta get another, but the time will come, they shine bright

I have allways had a dog by my side if not two or three. I grieve to very heavy but where I live I need dogs for friendship but also to keep people off of my property I live in the middle of nowhere next to LOST. I use cheap yellow rope to tie them up outside people just stay off the property then, We have no dog catchers no by laws what so ever. They run all night they have a DOGS life

Sorry to hear Fairly and anyone else that has lost a pet. To me, they are family! My Mooch is so freakin awesome. He is the most passionate cat I have ever had. 14 years ago I went to a shelter looking. I was there for over an hour. They had a few different rooms with cats and every time I went into 'his' room, he would sit at my feet and look at me. I mean LOOK at me. I have never had a pet that has made that much eye contact before. 14 years later and he still does it. I sure am going to miss this little guy when his time comes. I hate getting more just for that reason but I need them as much as they need me.

Wondering why there eye were red, they had a late night? Used to own a Newfoundland never had red eye probs

I wouldn't say it was a problem, but more thats just the color their eyes were...and actually, i was just doing some googling and found this picture...images.jpg their eyes were a brighter version of this dogs.

This is Bodie Ed's littermate brother...
not named after Bodie Miller the olympic skier, but after the song...
jungle love hya! Bodie O D O...
Bodie weighed over 150 & his head was near the size of a soccer ball...
Definitely bigger than a volleyball...
Bodie.jpg
& this is Maddy the mother of the dogs seen here...
Maddy was A Perro Presa de Canario / American Pitbull Terrier hybrid...
She weighed in at somewhere near 115 most of her life...
She had 2 litters during her life with a purebred black & white Moo pit 2/3 of which turned out brendels
& majority of the males weighed 150 or more... not Ed tho he only weighs 105
She looked black in this pic but she was actually very dark brown
with black tiger stripes which you could see in the sun...

some of my dogs but not all...

wakkyT... :Hookah:

I hear ya Medi. My hounds kept me level after I got back from Iraq. The time I spent training helped me maintain focus and gave me something to look forward to everyday. 24 years later I still talk to my dogs about stuff I would never talk to another person about.

:Cool bud: EXACTLY! I mean whom else can I tell my secrets to? They really are man's & woman's best friends.

@ AKSteel & Medi (and all service men and women!)~ I would like to say, "Thank you so very much for your service and sacrifice!"

Much luv & respect~

This is the cat after it broke into my tent through the passive intake took a dump in 2 plants and dug the others up
 OMG!!
But that picture is priceless! Be a good one for people to start making up the purrrrfect caption for it.

For example, "What? I just got here. It wasn't me it was the dog!" (only more clever than that)

priceless pic!

aloha
