Mephisto Genetics Pipes Organic Sour Stomper Grow

your doing foliage sprays in early pistil development for boosting? try a tea and/or a 1/4 strength spike or even a 1/3 strength soil spike.me personally?, i would avoid foliage sprays with autos much after 2 weeks. once you see the first pistil development, you need to be really careful imho since again imo ,it will tamp and potentially slow down early flower development once them pistils get wet a time er three. well I tried it a handful of times and thats what I got anyways LOL

looking excellent though!! so its obviously working :D

The foliar product that I use is the Extreme Blend from Kelp4Less. I've used it now for a couple of grows with excellent results. I'm just using it per instructions on their video for a once a week application through out the grow. This grow is kind of an experiment. Time will tell on this. Thanks for you interest. Pipes

heyhey Loud Pipes, they're looking awesome!

One thing I don't get: could you explain your reasoning for continually adding mycos and molasses to the soil?
I usually just sprinkle mycos onto the root zone when transplanting or when growing direct in the final soil add them to the seed's plant hole and that's it. You shouldn't have to reinnoculate unless you have disturbances in the soil?
And the molasses... the microorganisms are supposed to be eating the plant exudates and transforming soil nutrients?
What am I missing?

I really have no reasoning on this. I just started it on the last grow which was a DinaFem Sour Diesel. Got excellent reviews from my buddies on taste and potency. Everything is in very small quantities-5 ml of the liquid sea weed and a teaspoon of molasses and a very very small amount of the mycos. I decided I was going to do a complete grow this way and see how it works out. This is just a trial. So far so good. That 12" plant on Sat afternoon is now 15" this morning.

Ah OK thanks! I'm still figuring out how to feed my microorganisms ;)
And yeah it sure is working! Though I do suspect it's the liquid kelp doing the job.
Cheers!

You could very well be right but I decided from the beginning of this grow that this is the way I am going to do it. If I do have problems or have some kind of issues then I'll have to resort to Plan B but whatever I am going to keep this totally organic. Anyhow thanks for your interest and good luck with your grow:thumbsup: Pipes

oh absolutely! This is the experiment config so definitely stick to it!
Please never take my questions or doubts to mean you should change anything

Seeing I'm still sorting my soil (I have some fungus gnats I'd like to get out of my environment before I drop the Sour Stomper seed - which I'm hoping will be in the course of this or next week), I've begun thinking about trying kelp too - not that our grows would be totally comparable given I have a living soil I've been working on for a few months (which could be better OR worse than what you're using lmao)... but maybe an approximation. Whatever haha!

Cheers! :pass:

I'm going to use a kelp product also this time it's called nitrozyme same thing can be purchased cheaper much cheaper but it was a gift so I'm not complaining look up Nitrozyme it's amazing main ingredient is kelp it's a 0-4-4 NPK they say can be used whole grow that I'm not sure about its kind of a 50-50 split on when to stop.i love watching others grows I get ideas from them and try for myself like the nitrozyme was a recommendation from a old grower to my mate I'm shocked to find out spends that kinds of money he don't buy bottled nutes but he buys this says he's used it last 10 years it has a lot more then just kelp so I'm going to give it try. I'm waiting on a camera to come any day now then I will get my journal up I'm only using that nitrozyme with molasses and epsom salts for this grow if I need any extra n I have fish well I will sit back down be quite and watch you grow

Thanks for the replies everyone and I really do appreciate all of them! My plants are still doing really good and its a feeding/watering night-doing it right now. But the credit to this grow-and its far from over-I believe has to go to the ProMix Ultimate compost that I use. Its the foundation of this grow and I think its great stuff. I've played around with it for some time now and am now finally learning how to use it better than what I was doing anyhow. For me every grow is a tweak from the previous grow. I have considered getting some Mephisto Super soil and mixing it in very very lightly on my next grow. We'll see. Anyhow-update on Saturday:peace:Pipes

IMGL0575.JPG IMGL0575.JPG IMGL0573.JPG Time for my weekly update-day 28 today. All of the plants are doing pretty good. The tallest 2 plants are 20.5" while the smallest on is right at 19.5". Right now the upward growth has pretty much stalled out but early in this week they went crazy and did about 8-9 inches this week. They are budding very nicely and also with an incredible smell. These are kind of leggy plants but that's just what they're supposed to be and all structured about the same. Kudos Mephisto! When I mixed the compost that I'm using I added 1/2 cup of high P fish bone meal to help with the budding. It hasn't hurt anything-so far I'm happy with this grow. Its a very easy way to do things. Anyhow happy grows everyone:peace:Pipes
