This is an absolute must see. It discusses plant communication, plant behaviors, plant memory & various other interesting subjects. Some of these subjects and ideas can be applied to Cannabis easily.

Video is here:

It raises many more questions, some plants have evolved for much much longer than humans and yet have failed to launch any form of biological defense against humans themselves. (EDIT: Further research would conclude this statement is wrong. Some plants have successfully been able to launch biological defenses against humans, like Poison Ivy.)

Interesting subject, and an even interesting more subject if some advanced members can apply these ideas to Cannabis.

Enjoy the video guys & girls! :dance2:

From the point of view of pot, or peas or corn, they've got humans to baby them, spread them around the world,
and crush their enemies.

Just like my cat, it's convinced I exist to serve him

Good find, an interesting video for serious growers' l liked that bit with the roots. As we know, roots want to go down. The experiment was getting a root to climb a say, 35 degree incline (up), it did but every 1cm, tested the floor to see if could go down.
Another root of similar build and length had it's tip cut off with a blade, the root that had been tipped, grew a lot faster than the un tipped root, due to the fact that it stopped trying to go down like the normal root was still doing. Hope that's readable.

Yup. This can directly be applied to cannabis. According to the study from the video, the tip of the root has a built in system to somehow keep checking and tapping alongside the soil to make sure the taproot is going as deep as it needs to go and it's "tapping" into the best viable soil that's not hard. Removing the tip of the tap-root as a seedling should see a increase in growth as the seedling is not investing energy into the process of tapping alongside the soil every few hours (as shown in the video) thus increasing sprouting time.

I'm sure with further research into plants we can apply the same ideas and concepts to Cannabis.

Very interesting stuff.
