Ok so i went for miracle grow compost with slow release nutes and i've recently found out from admin that this was a very bad move! Because of this i've decided to transplant into a more appropriate mix. Of course i want to stress my baby as little as possible however i'm new to this so its gonna be difficult! (especially as i've heard autos hate to be transplanted)
Started in a large pot and she's only 10 days old so i know there will be lots of loose soil falling everywhere reeking havoc and destruction on my poor roots.
Thinking about cutting the bottom off the pot and going down instead of tipping the whole lot out.
If anyone can give me any pointers as to how i can go about this safely i would be very grateful.
Also i am considering mixing a bit of rooting hormone in with the water that ill use for the first watering in the new soil... is this a good move?
Peace
