PLEASE HELP! Brown spots!!!!

 :slaps:..light hours,... a good topic to start arguments! Peep's are all over the map on this, but none of the best growers I know run 24/0 the whole way- (LOL!- that's the right technical term- light/dark hours),.. some do 24/0 for a week or so as seedlings (like myself), but as a general trend I'd say most go 20/4 to 18/6,... yes, the plants can take 24/0, and some do fine with it, others don't... some strains seem to not like it either, and let's face it, it's not natural/normal,...dark hours allow a whole other set of biochemical processes to operate unimpeded,... IMO, it's one of those just because you can, doesn't mean you should things,... *** Yup, the color temp switch is a good call Jen!
>> Sounds like you did things right from here with the foliar,...:Cool bud:... as you see, w/o the water spreader, there are large droplets that are slow to dry off,... with CFL's, lensing burns are much less likely because the light isn't so point-source intense, like MH/HPS, even LED,... yeah, a little gentle shaking can help break up the bigger droplets; this early in bloom, getting the bud crowns a bit wet will be okay (and very difficult to avoid doing foliar), so long as they're dry by lights out,... later, the potential for mold increases, and nobody wants older, maturing buds/sugar leaves coated with residual whatever's! Here's an example of a safe, non-ionic wetting agent, which is fine for other things besides coco grow media: http://www.amazon.com/Spray-N-Grow-...&qid=1413172436&sr=8-2&keywords=wetting+agent
...in this case, and with soil as well, it helps water/nutrient solutions better penetrate the media... sometime soils get really dry and liquids tend to not go in very well, "soil-less" coco especially,... ***... yeah, warmer/room temps are best for treating,... colder temps tend to close up the stomata, as does very low RH,... air movement is very important no matter what! if stuff dries too fast, just mist with water as mentioned before,...so doing that tomorrow will be okay as well.... just make sure it's all dry by lights out!
>>> :stylez rasta smoke: football stunk tonight! ...so, I was watching the Giants game-- dammit! the Cards squeaked out a win,... :Windy: ..maybe we'll see a Giants- O's WS here soon! "Bailers Booya"

I'm all for lights out. I'll sleep better, for sure. Light leaks have been keeping me awake this whole time :slaps: Should I go 18/6 or 20/4? Should I start today?

By the way, the girls were super perky this morning. Didn't have time to snap a pic before I left for work, but I sure hope they're on the mend. Thanks again for all your help. I'll spray them with h2o when I get home, and if they're dry in time, hopefully we'll all get a good night's sleep

What should I be looking for next as far as (hopefully) recovery? How long should I keep up foliar feeding the cal-mag? If I'm to repeat, is it weekly or more often? I'll definitely get that wetting agent. Thanks for the link.

Lemme know about recommended light/feeding schedules when you have a minute.

Eternal thanks to you, my friend :peace:

Go Giants!

:stylez rasta smoke: hey Jen! ...yup, cut the light hours now, either sched' will be fine,... go 18/6 (fine for seed to harvest-- one of the beautiful things about auto's!) if you're literally losing sleep!
>> As mentioned, foliar is very fast, and acts right at the trouble spots,... but it's less and less an option as blooming progresses, barring dire emergency! Soil nutes take a couple days or so to get up there and start acting,...meantime, you might see a little symptom progression (more if soil only treated),... should halt very soon... if not, retreat with foliar once more, then, just add some once a week to your reg' soil fert's... how often is a very conditional thing frankly,...this is one of the tricky things with auto's-- how much to push before causing problems! The list of factors is too damn long to list- LOL! As a noob' it pays to be on the conservative side, and research into your specific strains and their quirks is often helpful,... I think given what I see in your girls, I'd fert' about twice a week,... the concentration of your nutes is another big factor; low N-P-K #'s like 5-3-7 would be a mild fertilizer... something like 16-16-16 is rich! Bloom boosters may go 4-54-17 or something like that! ...very easy to f' things up with such potent nutes, but done right, the bud production goes cray-cray- LOL! So, the question is whether to dilute or not,... low-to-mid' NPK #'s, and good size plants (like yours), you can use near to full strength,.. stronger stuff, you should cut in half or more, and ease into higher conc. over time, watching carefully how they react... if you see tip browning, it can indicate too rich a regime, so dial it down some,... You have Fox nutes, right? Good stuff,... okay to use full strength, but if you haven't been, ease it up over a few feedings, just to be safe,... ** the whole fert's and supp's thing- choices, timing, how and when- can make your head spin! But things like Ca-Mg, silica supp' (very beneficial, but not absolutely necessary), Superthrive/B1 vitamin (excellent for growth, and treating shock), are good staples to have for basics along with your grow/bloom fert's.... beyond this, I suggest looking at what other fine growers use, ask questions, and keep the KISS philosophy in mind until you get more and more experienced! Oh, and get some books! Sooo many answers in them,.. I recommend: Marijuana Growers handbook (Ed Rosenthal), and Marijuana Horticulture - the Indoor/Outdoor, Medical Growers Bible by J. Cervantes,.... Cheers Jen!
