Get yourself some mycorizae and add it to your soil before you plant this will help build some awesome root structure.

Hi there folks I am just wondering if there is a good root stimulator which you could recommend I am wanting something to use from seed growing in coco
Canna Rhizotonic would be fine if you dont use Advanced Nutrients, because it rises PH at the beginning. If you add acids to get PH down, then it could be just fine. See reviews around, no bad word. Comparing to Hesi Root Complex it works miracolous.
My first coco plant is 20 days old and is looking fine. I use basic nutrients and calmag and will see how they do the job before starting to play with snake oils. I do not know how it would be with root additives, but roots had reached the bottom of 15 l airpot in two weeks or even before. I think I will try voodoo juice from AN next time, but will compare different plants with or without it too see how much it adds, if at all.
Which nutrients are you going to use?

Hi Gonzo thanks for your input yes I use Canna range of nutes and do have Rhizotonic, I have also acquired some Mycorizae and have mixed ths with the coco and pearlite.

I've only ever used Canna Rhyzotonic which seems to do the job, combined with airpots I see very happy roots and increased 'knuckling' around joints of stems/damage.
Well root stimulater and inoculate are different things. The first is idole-3-butyric acid, and the later is beneficial microbes added to develop a symbiotic relationship with the root system. You should use both. Fertilome makes my favorite rooting hormone and starter solution. 4-10-3 is the strength of it. Sprinkle a bit of mycorrhiza around the seed at planting to introduce the inoculate.
are microbe and root drench by Busch doctor either of these things....used very sparingly and still seem to burn seedlings in coco.... I used less the 1/8

Canna Rhizotonic is excellent for early root development since it works best with low EC's. Use it 4ml per litre for first 2 weeks. After that 2ml per litre up until 4th week in flowering. Check pH since it sure raises it lot!
So... @Gonzo are you saying that you shouldn't use Rhizotonic with AN base nutes? I recently got some and I was wondering if I would use up my Canna additives with them. I cannot get SensiZym so I am wondering if I would just replace it with Cannazym. Might that be foolish thing to do?

What about advanced nutrients and happy frog soil? What root stimulator would you guys recommend?
