Hey guys i have a couple questing regarding pollen. Let me start by sayin in early april i started fem afghan kush ryders. I mustve stressed one out wih LST. Because one plant dropped a ball and pollinated my ladies including itself of course.and that plant ended up foxtailing . Its only dropped that one ball never another. But i didnt think the pollen wouldve survived long. About one week before i spotted the ball i startwd to veg my ghazexc99 in the same room. I cut down my akrs 4 weeks later and threw the ghaze under the flower light. Both lights are in the same tent btw. And those plants all got pollinted but they didnt flower long enough to mature the seeds. I wasnt that surprised to have seeds on the batch. But i started ghazediesels july 18 about the same time the ghazexc99 cropped. Gave them a couple weeks to veg and now its been 5 weeks and one or two is still vegging a lil bitbit while preflowering. But surprisingly these lil ladies are all polinated . I thought there wouldnt be much if any pollen left floqting around since the last ball dropped in may. So u guys think that its the kush pollen still floating around? None of my otherbplants have dropped balls i alwways check. And anything ive grown has been fem since then.Another question is do the pistils change color and shrivel when pollinated? Odd question im just curious. Cuz ill pull out the shrivel amber pistils calyx anf thrres a babys seed in there starting to grow. But when i pull out a white haired calyx thats still pointy theres no baby seed. Dontt want anymore. From now on Any help would be much appreciated i just want some sensimilla! I got well ovet 100 healthy fem kush seeds from that grow originally. And 9out of ten germed.

Pollen can last for a really long time. It's a good Idea to wipe down every surface between grows where pollen gets released. A mild bleach solution kills just about everything that might be waiting in the dust. Are you in contact with pollen else where and bringing it in on your clothes? I would also evaluate your grow space as to what environmental factors might be causing herms. The under developed seed makes me think they were pollinated by an undetected male flower.
Well the only thing i reckon theyre not liking about the environment is the lst which wasnt so low stress when i bent a branch on the afghan. And since then the highrise seeds only go to 65 days about 2-3 weeks veg and 4-5 for flower i let the kush do a 8 weeks flower to mature the seeds. So u think maybe im not finding a hidden ball? Its like a needle in a haystick but ive spent plenty time in preflowering looking for balls you could be right and im blind. And i did spray down the tent well and cleaned between grows just not the outside room the tent is in.
It generally take seeds about 30-45 days to fully mature. It just seems like if it was left over pollen they would have been pollinated early and you'd get mature seeds. Are you recycling air though a filter or anything out of the ordinary? Unless it's loose pollen coming in from outside I think just cleaning the inside should be enough.
thanks ikll do another wipe down. I filter my air through a carbon filter and 8in inline. I vacuumed THE room and tent and filter sleeve.
