With harvest approaching many of us are left in a bind not being able to afford all those masons were gonna need for your bumper crop here's a cheap solution.Instant coffee containers work great so do spaghetti sauce bottles so do salsa containers I know you can think of more most have an excellent seal

The label comes off easily by soaking in warm or cold water leaving the label on also obscures the view of the nugs inside making it a sort of ghetto stealth option .For the jars with a strong food smell I cure a lil lemon herb in the jar almost always removing food smells naturally. For a long store option I tape the rim of the lid with tape for a better seal.

I Love it, thought I was the only one!! Teh Wife loves pickles so as you can imagine, I have a lot of pickle jars!! Although we have over a hundred Mason jars, we use a lot of them to can with. Bumper crop of paste tomatoes so I need to clean the resin out of a few!!
