Outdoor Poppaguttman's 2nd UK Guerilla grow

Usually when that happens it's caused from damping off decease from wet soil around the stem and causes it to rot.Unless you can monitor the plants closely they should not be covered with any thing. It might have got to hot in your propagators and that could have cooked them.If you have any that are alive uncover them so they can get fresh air and maybe they will make it.

excellent nice one mate i have taken off the propogators and they do look healthy except from a little browning on the stems. Do you think the replacement ones will be ok in the same holes if i dont use propogators? or will the rot from the old ones spread onto them. I can replace the soil if it means they will live

Here is a picture of one of the plants at 1 and a half weeks. Notice the brown stem at the bottom.

Hey poppa, I have seem a few brown/purple stems so I think that last pic is all good but I'd get another opinion from an experienced grower. But from what I can see she's happy now, best of luck bro

:peace:

cheers guys had a little panic there... hopefully the others are still alive when i go back to check. I was thinking maybe replace the top layer of soil for the replacement ones just in case there is something left in there which killed the others? what do you guys think?

You can do that but keep soggy soil away from stems.

all is well

After checking tonight, all of the rest are fine and growing well. Some are growing faster than others due to light availability. Also planted another 7 think different and 3 photos. This bring it to a total of 24,plants but a few of them are the sick ones so may lose another 3 or 4. Apart from that its going well! Here are a few pics

pillaged

Some kind of creature has got over the fence and eaten most of them. There are only 9 small ones left. Does anyone know how to prevent this? It must be a deer or some kind of giant rabbit. Anyway, here are some pics of what is left

Wire mesh around each plant. easy enough to get hold of a roll, b&q will do it.
