So I'm growing out some short stuff auto assasin x russian rocket fuel cross that I did a few years back. from this run I intend on seeding out all the females that come about out of the beans I just recently started.
I put them all together in this container out of convenience but now I'm beginning to worry.
My concern is that once they start showing sex whatever males get chopped are going to leave their roots. Now is that going to harm my girls? I have my Soil mixture at about 50% perlite 25% organic potting soil 25% vermiculite bottom of container lined with small rocks. Each plant has roughly 3in between plants on either side. I started them outdoors probably too early and I'm sure this will effect size. With their short life cycle am I better off leaving them in this container or transplant into seperate containers and set them back even more. Please help o knowledgable herbsmen

The roots will not effect any thing. You should not have more than one plant per pot.

You could use something like Botanicare's Aquashield. I've read it helps prevent root rot, keeps the root zone healthy. I also read somewhere about Grow More's Bio-Cozyme (similar to Hygrozyme, etc.), that it helps break down dead roots.

I'm thinking water is going to have to be supplied by a drip system. I figure with 50% perlite the whole container should have a ridiculous root system but as there are so many plants in such a small area they will go through water super fast. Any suggestions?
I was just reading this article this morning by Muddy that was basically a guideline for when to start vegetive nutes when to stop and when to start flowering nutes. I decided to look when to start first feeding with autos as my little ones were looking a bit pale. So this morning I decided to introduce my little ones to my fish emulsion that I've had brewing. Holy smokes after getting home this evening and seeing all the growth that has taken place today it's obvious that they were starving.
