Possible overwatering, need help to fix it

UPDATE:
haven't watered since october 14 and she is looking wayy better now.
now i am planning on what to do next:
- should i try lst? if so do you have any suggestions or should i just follow a youtube video?
- when should i start with fertilizer? what npk do you guys recommend?

picture 1-4 october 16

picture 5-8 october 17

picture 9-11 october 18 (today, 14 hours after yesterday's picture)

what do you think guys?
cheers 😁

EDIT:
looking at the attachments order they are not consistent, i just found it out with my first post...
anyway the files are named correctly so they have the date as their name
:)
Looking perkier. Now we just gotta get her green again. It'll take time, but she'll pull through.

soil is still partially humid on the surface so i will wait a couple days before watering her.
i was thinking about 1L of water with 5g of NPK 8-5-5 for a 50% dose (recommended amount is 20g per 2L of water). am i doing this right?

also i didn't want to do any fancy training, maybe just bending the main branch sideways after watering it could be a good middle ground?
cause i would like her to grow larger and not too tall since its an indoor grow and the light will be uneaven (correct me if i am wrong)

new leaves look very green, no yellowing in sight

anyways, this is purple punch autoflower by barney's farm if anyone is interested
:cheersmate:

Nice recovery! Going with 50% dosage is usually a good point to start with but i personally would feed by EC (I would give 1.0-1.3 EC). Maybe you want to start even a bit lower than the 50%. For the amount of water you will have to get a feeling for the pot..

Thats what i was trying to say. Even if some wouldnt advise you to, I would give her a little bend for once. IMHO it will multiply yields, no further training needed. To be fair I also never not trained any plant i ever had 😅

so i should like mix 2L of water with 7/8g of fertilizer and water until the soil is saturated, if it is not enough i will mix 2L again and do it again. the remaining mix can be left there for the next feeding or it goes bad or something?

is there a difference if i bend it now with soil almost dry or should i wait after i watered her so she may have more water inside and be more elastic?

what do you mean with EC? i am sorry but i don't understand the sentence😅

Since you dont seem to have a device to measure the EC of your water I suggest giving her a mild dosage of fertilizer. Not knowing your tap water EC nor your fertilizer I cant really give any further advice here, sorry. I suggest reading into EC if you want to go deeper, or just use organic solid fertilizer and dont care about it. At this point, just be careful not overwatering her. Just give 1l and see how she replies. Look for your water pH. Try to evenly water the pot to avoid dry spots inside. Try to lift up your pot every day to get a feeling for the weight. Bend her after watering, but really be careful not to break the stem, it can happen quickly.

Its looking so much better! purple punch is a fun strain and is a staple in a lot of their crosses. You'll like it. After this you should try peyote critical or peyote cookies if you like how the purple punch turns out.

hey guys

yesterday (oct 21) i fed her almost 2L of water with almost 50% dose of NPK 8-5-5 and waited like 10 hours before bending her.

you can see the picture before and after bending.

i did not defoliate yet because i would like your opinion before possibly messing her up. should i defoliate? if so, which leaves should i cut?
i read online that i should cut the bigger leaves since they are less efficient at photosynthesis and cut the ones that cover the new ones as well.

did i bend her correctly? any other advice?

:watering:

as long as you didnt break or snap anything, the bending went well and the plant should recover soon.

I just wanted to pass by and say watering 2 Lt seems too much for that size of a plant in that pot and that type of soil. You might need to wait a bit to water again or overwatering will happen.
Someone already suggested maximun 1 Lt per watering... I would add to do it slowly too: slowly water 250 ml well spread out, wait 10-15 minutes, then water 250 ml more and wait some minutes to slowly water in the remaining 500 ml.

i did 1L first and then the soil did not look humid enough so i added more. i saw on YouTube that people use to water even 1L at a time so i thought i could as well. thanks for correcting me 😁

You did a good job bending and exposing all the nodes, just let her grow like this now. I would not defoliate anything at this stage but only tuck the big leaves down.

Usually soil is able to hold about 1/3 of its volume before it drains, but you should not exceed 1/10th per watering event IIRC. Doesnt mean you should keep it wet like that, rather avoid it. You should really lift up your pot and try to feel and evaluate the moisture content by its weight. The pot will be light like a feather before the plant shows any signs of underwatering. You should also avoid that since your soil will get too dry, therefore it gets hydrophobic and the pot will drain directly. She will need a few days now i guess, leaves should be getting a little darker since you fed them.
