New Grower Possible to use an LED in a tent in a closet without cutting holes in the walls for ventilation?

Ye the carbon filter does fine outside the tent, just make sure your fans blowing the right way round. Iv got 2 AutoMazar that are close to finishing and they stink to high heaven when I open the tent up but when it's closed you can't smell a thing. I think I need a bigger dehumidifier, the RH gets to just below 50% and then I need to feed my plants so it shoots back up to 65ish, that's the only problem Iv encountered so far though

Yeah I have noticed my humidity goes way up after feeding X_X Thanks for answering all the questions! If I go this route I will def update the thread.

I run two Advanced LED lights totaling 220 watts in a closet ... raises the temps about 5 degrees F. w/ door open or 10 degrees F. w/ the door closed ... I tried a 368 watt Advanced LED and it raised temps a good 10 degrees w/ door wide open ... I would do w/o the tent cause that just seems like it would complicate things ... I like Blue Mystic due to low/no odor ...

Hows the smoke on the blue mystics? I saw in your journal that you were disappointed with the Northern Lights, but I wonder how you like the mystics? Is it like a good Indica high?

does the closet have an attic space at the top as in a little cut out to where you have to move the board if so I usually just replace that bored with my own and when I'm done I put theirs back that way I can cut a ventilation exhaust hole without damage to their stuff otherwise have you considered running a water chiller with heat exchangers they have a nice one with hydro innovations I run an icebox a water-cooled co2 generator and my tent is now sealed completely

Sadly there is no attic in the house... It's kinda weird. There are no noticeable places in the closet. The only thing weird is that the floor on the closets is raised sort of. There is a wooden platform. It is screwed down in like a million places, but I can't be sure it goes anywhere... I may look into that again though.

I am growing in my closet too but instead of LED i am using CFLs. Infact i think the LED gives out lower temp than the CFLs ? Anyway i would love to poke holes to have proper vent but then my father wouldn't allow that so i just have to adapt. I have a fan inside helping the air flow and i leave the closet door half open most of the time so that my girl can get fresh air instead of stale air all the time and also helps with the temperature. LED lights mostly come with fans and CFLs not. That is why the feeling of heat is different.
If it helps, this is chinese photo of temperature test on no fan LED using 170W power. I use them and they accumulate a lot of heat. That is why I always use 5W clip fan to cool heatsinks down.

Cool, i might get a led for my next grow. When you leave your closet open does any other kind of light leaks into your dark period ? And do you plan on upgrading your closet setup ?
