Smart vs Square
Well, good points from all who have joined in. I'm at day 28 with my first set of 5 plants in Smart Pots. Just put them in my flowering room (4'X6') under the big lights (2-600 watt MH 4200K) set at 75% currently. The move didn't seem to effect the root ball at all, I was aware of what might happen during the move form the previous posts but no problem I can see so far. I use a moisture probe to check the moisture level so no movement there. Might try a couple Air Pots on my next round of auto's which will be a while since I have several other fem crops following the BB auto's. Have several different soil arrangements to see what works best. The first five are in TLO with Layers and no spikes, the next 4 are in square pots with spikes, and the last three are in soft pots with spikes and layers. The first five are just starting to show flowers, thought I would let them go another couple weeks and then give them a flowering tea to give them a little boost at the finish. Looking fair far as I can tell. Any comments are welcome.
