Poultry manure is always HOT! Birds leave their urine in their poo so it will burn most plants especially young ones. You'r safest bet is to compost it well and then top dress it on to you plants or mix it into your soil.

If you know the manure has been composted properly, you are good for making poultry manure tea.
Have a look at this link http://www.fresh-eggs-daily.com/2014/03/how-to-brew-chicken-poop-or-horse.html.
I have also seen a site that says to dilute brewed tea at 10 to 1,this one says 4 to 1.But i believe the guide line is if it is the colour of week tea it will be ok.
This method makes nutrients readily available to your girls, just takes a few days to brew.
Good luck with it maxi.
Uncomposted poultry manure can be made into a tea using the same method, but it takes about a month.
