I checked under the leaves and also on the sticky traps. There were none there. These things are so small that I didn't see them until I really focused on the sand as I was watering.

Where did the sand come from?
Could be gnat larvae mate.. They munch on the roots. Don't do anything drastic til you know for sure what you've got tho bud..
Home depot sand for potted plants. I wondered about the sand too when I saw them, but I only found them in 1 out of 4 plants with sand.

That it could be. I had several gnats in the room before I got rid of them. If so those bastards work fast.
Shit, If I saw either of those I might just throw those plants out the door and go buy a sack. Lmao. I don't think it was either, but its hard to tell because they were so small. I just pinched the sand where I saw them and grinded it to bits. There were no corpses to be seen.
Yeah.. It might be that the eggs have hatched in the soil and the babies have made it thru.. If so, let em fry on the sand. [emoji6]
So they'll just die on their own in that sand? How does that happen?
