Grow Mediums Preparing for an Alien RDWC invasion...

2 dead males.

1 new male
6 females.

5 unsure.

Arrg!! Sex already!! I'm overdue a res change in the XL and I wanted a clean 1 plant per pot. Its is very tough to untangle this and unfortunately one must sacrifice a few roots to make way...

Ladies and gents, 9 females confirmed, so thats

2 unsure,

So its confirmed, we have a full house. Will just wait on confirmation on the two left so I can select the best. One of the "unsure" is the biggest plant, very sativa dominant. They way they're growing, I don't know if I want to keep her though, I'd prefer a more even canopy. It the one on the back to the right.
What would you do if ts a she? The stem is MASSIVE in comparison to all others. But being sativa dom... idk... could overshadow her sisters (if its a she, probably will be)

Stretch is starting to really take over. Green canopy is starting to go slightly pale, but I am holding out one or two days more so I can untangle those roots, chose one per pot and do a rez change with fresh goodies.

Alien XL tent

Sorry about the focus.

btw, since I leave no stone unturned... the olive oil test was a success!! I waited this long to see if horrible bugs would mutate out of it...bt no. Just olive oil turning into gunk. It certainly does react, but it wasnt what cause the sludge in my rez, obviously. I poured in quite the tablespoon in a cup, while I merely smudged a paper towel with it to lubricate the fittings into the grommet. Also, it did nothing for a few weeks, then "suddenly" I noticed the oil became a blob and denser than water.

Success yes, reason for gunky grommet, no. BUT, I can confirm that upon the second cleaning and jsut about the same time-fame, they've stopped reacting. So I think maybe yes, som sort of finishing coating on that rubber is reacting. Perfectly harmless though.

I would remove a few fan leaves on the main cola, this will slow it's growth and let side branches grow evenly with the main cola. At least this works on indicas but I'd try it anyway.

Thing is, I have at least 1 extra girls, possibly 2, with statistical defiance 3.

So the question is... should I keep her? I am more inclined to chose the closest looking ones, so all feeding and space conditions are equal.

OMG !! How relieved I am...

10 girls confirmed! My friend came over to rescue the "rejects". Along with his new tents and airpot, should be a great kickstart! One still to sex, but I chose the most promising ones (at least what I think are, still lots to learn from observing phenotype potential). Final roots untangled and much less butchered than I thought.... tip, untangling roots under water is 10000x easier and less stressful. Gave them a day to recover from stress and release broken root matter into the system with the same 3,5 week old rez, and did a fresh rez change yesterday morning. Getting much better at it, only took me 1h and 20m start to finish (except final pH adjust, where I go super slow about it).

Both tents are basically equal.

Cal Mag was reduced to 0.35ml/L

Silicon was increased to 1ml/L, and should be the last time since silicon does deposit in the buds and toxic (but only after stretch finishes)
Rhizo & Cannazyme 1.5ml/L, weekly, would go more, cost forbidding
A&B, aprox. 1ml/L
Pk 13/14 - gave them a single shot at 1,5ml to turbo-charge bud site formation - huge debate over pk schedule - merely importing my personal take growing auto's
Boost - 2ml/L

EC 1.1
pH 6.0

1 girl per bucket !! Finally!! I feel so much more at rest now, was really anxious to get them to their final pods... Happy days!

Mate they look lovely, you look like you got then dialled in. :Sharing One:

They are indeed reacting very nice. Impressive actually... I lowered temps and no boosters until yesterday. As soon as the new rez reset, they were all over it. :Sharing One:
