Grow Mediums Preparing for an Alien RDWC invasion...

So I finally decided to go full hydro!!



Been doing coco for a while, dreaming of a perfect RDWC setup. As I was scouring ebay I stumbled onto this baby.





After a few emails I ended up getting two setups (they sent me this picture). A smaller 20L for my small tent, and the bigger one as shown above, which is 27L. Today the mailman delivered the 20L. Spent the day trimming and cleaning up, tomorrow I'll start setting it up.


I'm doing this diary with hopes that people join in to lend a hand as its my first time. The plan is to do both autos&photos that dutch passion so kindly sent me (new releases! stay tuned

)


I'll lay out the details for this run later as I'm still sorting out a few things.

I know you do... it is an Alien Hydroponic System after all...

Quick set-up pics. Still figuring out one or two details, but boy am I surprised!! I thought the green was PVC piping, but its not! Its a silicon hose

So basically, construction is like playing with lego's again haha... you can really do your own design and play with your space! They supplied more than enough L and Straight connectors.

I don't want to cut through the tent, so I'll be using the extra L connectors to make way through the port-hole (right side), more details later. On the left side, the black line is the return waterline that goes out the back...





.. which will eventually return to a chiller, with the space reserved already. Then from the chiller to the headpot








Today I have family matters, so I hope tomorrow I finish setting it up and test it!
