Problem after problem and now stumped, plz help

looks like the start of calcium def.but I don't know

Maybe the reflected lens that causes the need for more distance or summin I dunno but they warn bout it n i experienced the consequences first hand so know theres summin to their warnings, it's not exactly a gd selling point lol

At the distance you have your lights according to the manufacturers reading you are getting less than 500 umols which is fine for very average growth but the plants can use up to 1000 quite happily at this stage. It would need something like 5w leds with 60degree lenses to burn through your plants at 60cm.

Out of curiosity what LEDs do u have? I found very few in the uk just basically budmaster n that helios/quantum led conman lol

I've only got the two vipar panels in there atm, v240 and v300 so about 360watts true. 12 to 14" from the plants angled at about 30degs to get full beam crossover.

I estimated bout 700 but they r 25 days old n had sum issues and severe bleaching, i fully expect them to be at bout 40-50cm during bloom as suggested, and didnt say burn but far mor severe than the light bleaching u have experienced n considerably quicker so was defo too close n when I eased up it stopped n my plants have zero stretch even corner plants r not leaning into the centre and growth is strong n quick especially considering the issues so my distance being too far is defo not the case nor a problem and will b adjusted as they grow however the only suggestion so far to my problem has been light bleaching so if anything they have grew too close for their young age however not set on that diagnosis yet but thank you anyway, the vipars look gd I've never seen em or head of em till now, atleast the company looks fairly reputable unlike sum...

I would NOT up your cal/mag, personally. 1ml per L is about maxed out and you could cause more problems. I would however, pull your light up a bit until you see your nodes space a good inch apart. I have 5w diodes and put my lights at 28-30 inches and make the plants reach for the light as led will make them compact bushes if you dont. I would leave things be for a day and see. I think your ph in your soil is out of whack. Plus I would use this schedule with the sensi line....

ps, ph in is 6.3 but what is your runoff?

Thanks for ur reply, maybe earlier as a preventive measure is the key then n would love em to stretch more, I assumed the issues had caused the stunted compact bushy effect my light cant actually get any higher in my tent tho so just gotta stick with it at the mo but will b a consideration in the future, do u think my ph is out of whack from the pictures or the 6.3?? N tbh after the run off always coming out the exact same as I feed like 1L every other day n doesn't tend to build up salts i actually gave up checking run off but will next feed for sure, n thx but that guide cant rely help me as I don't use them additives he does n the 1-2ml of sensi he uses would b far too weak for mine but presumably his additives make up for it

Although u clearly pointed me in the direction of sum1 with expert qualities, I'm actually gonna try browse his diaries n consider swapping up feeds to match, it's just as we probs all do I swear by my recipe ive had success with lol

Hello Learner, nice to meet you. I have a 300W draw LED with 5W diodes in a 30" space. On my first, I'm only on grow #2, I had all sorts of deficiency issues and found two things that I think helped. First I bought some photography light diffusing material and taped it over over the lens of my light. It's hard to say if the diffuser helped or the plants matured enough to take the light. I also found that the nutes I was using needed to be applied at almost full strength. I used Technaflora's Recipe for Success. I don't know about AN products but Briman's suggestion to see tangs feeding schedule is a good one. Tang grows some beautiful plants.

Thanks for ur input n advice jack, ye ive been having a read thru the forums n seems I underestimated how different things would b switching to led n defo shoulda brushed up beforehand, think I'm gonna rethink my whole feed especially wen I'm reading that calmag can b even more troublesome n common under led, any ideas on the current issue? Plus bit off topic but has any1 tried both n have a preference over DP's TD and ultimate? Has DP outdone themselves since TD? I'm quite behind on the current progress's n been set in my ways lol
