Mephisto Genetics Purple Nuggets Training Tips and Tricks

How was the smoke? I'm soaking some beans of this cross now (however the beans look sub-par - one looks to be prehistoric and the other is tiny - not sure if they will germ).
Don't know yet! Your post reminded me to check. I'm about 3 weeks into cure. In terms of aroma, I'm getting some earth, maybe a little pine. I'll fire up a bowl in a week and circle back with a report. Good luck on your grow.

Well @MonteVerde curiosity got the best of me and I fired up a bowl (SNxSW) last night
I also checked my notes and it is only 2 weeks into cure so needs at least a couple of more. Smoke was "bright" due to the cure but could taste some of that earthiness plus some sweetness. No question it's a heavy indica. Put my head on the pillow an hour later and slept for 8 hours (which for me is major). Warm and fuzzy.

Excellent! Thanks for the report, I have at least one of these seeds that is showing life, the adventure continues...

She's looking very promising as she goes into flower. I can see the purple starting to come through.

I had been away for a day longer than expected and regrettably wasn't able to change the solution. Hence the slight fade, she's a thirsty girl. I dont mind too much as the affected leaves are the ones I'd like to drop off anyway.

ID definitely defoliate right now mate as she’s gonna need as much light and airflow as possible now.

Very interesting post for sure. My purple nuggets is the same. Microscopic nodes and she grows fairly slow. Prob related to my medium and over watering. Ive just hooked onto what branches I can right now so they grow out and away from each other. But her node lengths are soo short. Same with jammy dodgers too

I took your advice and gave her a trim. I was very hesitant of doing it so late into flower. But the nagging thought of getting rott forming later in the grow, made me bite the bullet and just get her pruned.

I took most of the lower larf looking shite, some of the huge fan leaves and then tucked any remaining offenders out of the way of any bud sites.

I did this two days ago, and kinda expected to stunt her by doing so. It was not the case. Either I did it with perfection (I very much doubt this, as my defoliation experience is terrible lol) or she's a tough cookie when it comes to this kind of stress.

Here are a few pics of the progress so far.

I've pulled everything down again and exposed a good amount of under bud sites which needed light.

I'm waiting for some cal mag, and bud booster to arrive in the next few days. She looks like she needs it.
