New Grower Q: Do I re-pot or not? (& should I LST them?)...

Hi AFN,

I've got 2x BioDiesel Mass plants in a 4ltr pots, they are 5 & a half weeks old (38days from seed), they are flowering nicely, doing well & only have aprox 5 weeks left before the chop.

My question is do I re-pot them or not? (I have already re-potted them twice!)

• I knocked them over on week 2 & had to re-pot them.In week 4 (a week & a half ago)
• I re-potted into 4 ltrs as previous pots were way to small (poss 1 ltr!)

My concerns are:

• I don't want to disrupt the flowering cycle.
• Want to ensure they have enough root space for growth...but unsure if the plant will/has stoped growing to concentrate in producing buds?
• Also should I LST them & tie the branches down to increase light coveridge?

i wouldnt bother, i might chop a fan leaf or two but no lst.

at this stage of growth its a hard 1 to answer it may stress the plant but that said in pots of that size ya not gonna get the most from them
so i would repot bit that's just me
i always start in 11 ltrs minimum so i don't have to repot i would suggest starting in a minimum of 6.5 ltr pots next time bro

Nice one flub,

The problem I had was I kept them in too smaller pots for too long!

I have 4x 6.5 ltr pots, which is the biggest sizes (x4) I can get in my 'ghetto grow box'!

I've started 2 more & put straight into 6.5 ltrs using Biobizz light with the Biobizz grow & bloom on standby, so hopefully my 2nd grow will be better?

Have you started your outdoor grow yet? ...& where's your pall Carbon?

not started yet night time temps are still to low although i have managed to source a lot of bits for the new grow room . Carbon is no doubt busy taking full advantage of the fact its 420
just ordered myself a few more seeds today for my first real play with hydro . Got 3 super lemon haze and 4 iced grapefruit on the way gonna order my auto stock next week

420 weekend is a celebration of the magical herb that starts on the 20th of April if ya check the forum you'll see competitions and stuff all done for 420

id leave them well alone Jonny you dont wana hermie them.Autos should be planted straight into their final containers first time round realy by now they will have developed a root ball to that size pot and by changing it it wont grow any bigger
