New Grower quest for sticky gold! noobie grow with mi5. day 34

higer self. You may already know this, but I thought I would throw it out anyway concerning flushing in a situation like yours.
Best to run 3 x the volume of water than your container size.

Kepp Us updated should take 3 to 4 days to start recovering then she will be hungry..if you see her turning yellow she wants some food most likely..She is in transition to flower so more Pand K and less N with cal/mag to keep things happy...testing some promix HP with aluminum sulfate to balance ph.. I havent had to balance the PH ..soil does the work...If you want the best soil grow either go TLO with everything in it or a light soil where the plant only eats when and what you feed it...Im doing both ATM lol

Yea, I run straight TLO with everything the plant needs in the soil for its growth cycle. Never have to worry about PH.

My bad about jumping in here but I am a commercial fisherman and am being kinda forced to ditch hydro and go back to soil for the simple fact that I am gone at sea any where from 2 days up to 14 scalloping / long lineing and cant constantly tend to a hydro set up, so, say I were t8 hypothetically have to flush a 3 gal air pot I would use 9 gallons of ph adjusted water (3× the pot size) for starters until I got my ph settled or ??????!

after you do that then..feel the pot pick it up ..see how heavy it is and track how fast it gets dry..what are your room temps?you want it 75 at root level for good growth. You could make or buy a water spike for when you are away.

I run a gl40 with blackstar led and cfl combo usually runs about 80 during the day, bbut thanks for the fast response ill be sureto update you guys when I pop a bean haha, cheers everyone and good luck with your grow, ill stick around for sure

IMO I would think a properly set up recirculating DWC would be more sustainable than soil if your were gone 2 weeks! Unless you plan to use some type of drip irrigation set on a timer.
