Not sure if Im putting this in the right spot on the forum or not, but feel free to delete/move it :)

So I've officially completed my first transaction within the world of world wide stealth shipping.

First Impression?

Ok. Im impressed. Packaging was indeed stealth, in addition to it arriving at my doorstep in 16 days.

I'm not going to name drop or give some awful review of something which I, at this point, have no business doing.

Upon review of the packs the beans themselves came in, I noticed that
- 1 pack has no information on it at all (5 pack of freebies and says nothing other than the strain name on the outside of the baggie; beans themselves are in a little plastic vial thingey)
- 1 pack says cosecha del: February 2013. Now I cant speak spanish but i CAN use google lol and evidently cosecha = harvest.
-1 pack contains no dates that i can see, but does list the strains listed within the pack.

- So here's the question -
Before I go emailing anyone, haha.
Is this date from the harvest in which the beans CAME FROM or is it more like a 'harvest before' date? lol

Thanks to everyone in advance!

First things first congrats on receiving beans.
Secondly- Never ever discuss how they came, EVER.
Third- The date probably when collected.

Now relax and start growing

I'm not positive but I think the harvest date is when they actually picked the seeds. Iv'e never see any dates on seeds I have bought but ay least you know how old they are and that's a good thing.

Yea Id also guess day seeds were harvested... I know that all of sweet seeds official packaging comes with a date stamp
Of what month and year they were harvested in :) I think that's a nice touch.
Welcome to AFN! Congrats on the beans making it to you! Looking forward to seeing a journal started ;)

HA!
The package with the date on it is actually a sweet seeds package - but again - the whole things in spanish lol definitely reassuring to know that it is indeed the date they were harvested not the 'bring these seeds to harvest by this date or else yo' shits gonna suck' date lol.
I was actually looking around trying to figure out how to start a grow journal but Im still not 100% on if there is a specific way/place to put it....do you just start a thread entitled grow journal and comment on your own post as you want to give updates on the grow? Is there a specific forum for grow journals?

I was actually REALLY nervous about saying anything about the....'stealthy-ness', what exactly IS and is NOT ok to post regarding being pleased (or displeased) with an order? Do you think I should edit the initial thread, or do you think my very basic description is ok?

thank you everyone:)

Hello just wanted to add that Serious seeds also come with a date the seeds were harvested, its so you know your getting fresh beans..

Also its ok to discuss anything about and order except for the shipping and stealth methods, when you discuss this your giving a clue to customs on what to look for. I don't use my usual seed bank anymore because there are a million "unboxing" vids on youtube from this company and now they are getting a lot of seizures on packages going into the USA. IMO if people want to know the stealth methods then they need to place an order.

Its fine to talk about shipping times, customer service, price of the beans… Just no shipping methods.

thank you!
I'd actually done A LOOOOT of seedbank research prior to actually ordering. Was looking for one with A-good reviews and B- accepted bitcoin.
I'd literally only found ONE review of this particular company I ordered from, and it was indeed positive and they took bitcoin. So I chanced it, and luckily it, so far, has turned out in my favor.
