I also saw you mention Better-Gro for orchids.

Miracle Gro has several similar products but I know their reputation is poor in these circles.

I like the idea of water soluble for sure

Yeah I read up on Better-gro. Some of Muddy's stuff and some other sites. Cheap and easy to find.

I know the NPK but I gotta check the label for micronutes. Im building a house, which is why I haven't started growing yet. I have my cabinet ready but my water quality(well) is still up in the air.

May just plan on RO water.
