Extraction Question for the hash boffins

When I get round to making some hash, what difference would there be from freezing a freshly cut plant to using a frozen dried plant for ice hash making?

Also, once I've got my little balls of joy, how do I make them into squidgy hash or pollen?

Hey bro..are you talking about dry ice hash or bubble/ice water hash? Not sure what squidgy hash is?? Are ya talking oils or waxes??

Erm... I'm pretty sure I can't get dry ice here as it's only a tiny island so I'll be doing Ice water hash.

I don't really want oils or any other processing using solvents because I can be clumsy and me plus explosive/flammable substances isn't gonna end well.

I don't want to just press the kief into a block of kief, but more like the resin block you heat before crumbling into a spliff.

I bought some the other day that's lush but it's dead squidgey. I can't heat it to crumble it in so I've been making small balls with it instead. It's proper nice and if I can make my own I'll be happy but I can't find how it's done.

Does that make sense?

It makes sense,there are plenty tutorials in the "sticky" area of this forum,and i think the fresh vs dried frozen is covered,ive only done dried frozen.i have done a dry sift shaking method with frozen bud to get a small amount of almost pure Kief before i take it through other processes to get the rest..prolly not much help ,let me check the threads and ill try and get more info for ya,, if @HashMaster is around he can help you out with his methods...peace

squidgy was just the name it was known as round my neck of the woods.a very soft afghan black,kinda like finger hash.
its a pretty pure form of hash so dosnt need any real pressure to bind to itself,and then into a ball.
what you run through the set of bubble bags should be easily pressed together between fingers to form a ball.a tiny bit of moisture will help it take the squidy form.
im lazy id let it dry out to a powder,easier to work with than rollin lil sausages.

I stumbled into the dabs thread and have decided to try some fresh frozen rosin tech instead. That shit looks like the muts nuts!!
