hi can anyone answer a quest for me, when my plants
were small i had the light about 6 inches from the top, i posted what i was doing , and many people told me that i should have my plants about 2 ft away from the light,well i moved the light away from the plants now my plants i believe are too tall, about 3 foot, now my plants are so tall i have to put the tops on the side of the light so it
will have room, well can you tell me from start how far should the light be, now my light is cooltube with a fan,
i could put my hand on it and leave it on it and it will not get uncomfortable , if i have a couple of plants coming up on the side of the light will they get enough light, i have a mylar tent, they are bubble gum autos, fem,started them 7-20, they are 6wks old, here are a couple of pictures

if you can touch and its not hot it needs to be way closer than 2 ft. how old is she? whats the temps? whats humidity? how many watts is ur light? you might have to add cfl for buds on side of light.

my plants are 6wks old, i started them on 7-20, temp in tent tent varies between
79 and 81 degrees fah, i water with 6.2 ph water, run off is 6.5,
one time i asked the question here how far should your light be , and most people said that it should be 2 ft away from the plants, i thought that was kind of odd when i can leave my hand on the light, well anyway i did it i believe that was wrong like you said because my plants are so large, i had to put string on them to bend them to the side so they could fit under the light, i know next time,

kind and wattage?? Great looking plant too!! Should get great penetration in flower, might have to bamboo stake the taller ones. Heavy flower, likely to tip over!!

I use 300w led and I start at 2 ft till 10 days old then I leave it at 1 ft till last 2 wks of flower then I put at 6 inchs. maybe this will help for next time. I try and keep my plants squat and fat stacked with buds till the whole cola is 1 bud.
