I plan to move my Windowsill grow to indoor and i'm gonna use my cabinet.

It is 21.5 by 16.5 by 45 inches (LWH).

I plan to use a fan to reduce the heat.

Do you think this will work ? Temperature is 81F(Night) and the humidity is 89% but usually in the morning till afternoon it ranges from 81F to 88F and the humidity decreases till 59-66%. Meaning it will usually be high humidity at night till morning(before sunrise) and in the morning to afternoon the temperature will be higher but less humidity.

I am gonna use two CFL lights for the whole grow. Both of them are 60W. One of them is daylight and another is warm (Mixed for full grow).

So can you guys please give any opinions or advices regarding the heat or if the light is enough. Thanks !!

Also how far should it be from my plant ? My plant is 11-12 days old.

Hello hello. What kind/type of fan were you planning on using? That higher humidity is great for veg growth, but when your gals start budding up, you'll need it a bit lower to lessen your chance of mold, mold is no good. As long as you can keep your temps in the low 80s, you should be just fine. 80F is perfect in my opinion, but anything above 85F, will start to be detrimental, especially for extended periods of time.

With that space, a 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter should do you just fine. Exhausted outside of the room preferably, but not always necessary. And make sure you have a small fan inside the box for good air flow, often overlooked. Cheers and let us know how it pans out, dude. :D:

Edit: With cfls, you can be within a few inches from your plants, especially after a week or so. But makes sure you keep some air flowing around or even across the lights, is what I do.

Most CFL placements should be 4-6" away from the plant on average. Some folks put them closer. 80% humidity will marginal for veging but you'll want it much lower during flowering. With some ventilation your CFLs should be able to lower the humidity. The temps should be fine. I would go with more light too. Try for 5 CFLs at least and are you using 60w "equivalent" bulbs which I am guessing are around 13 true watts?

Hey guys after buying the lights i am really out of budget and i don't have any carbon filter. So the only ventilation/airflow i get is by buying a table/desktop fan and have it in my closet. Should i face it towards the light or the plant and should it be on maximum power ? I am using 60true watts cfls so i have like 120 watt in total for just one plant in my closet. Thanks for the opinion and advices, keep them coming please :)

If that's all you can manage for now, I would have it blowing across the lights and that will also bounce off the walls and create some otherwise needed airflow. Med-Max power should be fine. Are you keeping that closet closed? An exchange of fresh air is imperative.

Holy shit, when did you get back you old fart? Are you back for good? Glad to see you back on because I,m getting tired running this place by myself.I'll be here to help you start a grow if you forgot how.Sereously, hope everything is better for you and your back to help us.:vibe::stylez rasta smoke:

Yep it will most probably be closed and the inside of it is already white in color so i don't need to spray or paint. I'm looking to get Mylar but i just can't find it anywhere. Do you think i should leave the closet open ? Will the light leak out or should i leave it closed ? I am gonna go and get my CFL and Fan tomorrow. The reason why i am moving indoor is because my plant is growing really slow and i think the stem is really long and it fell once so i guess it stretched too much. I am also hoping i can get a bigger yield compared to a window grow. I'm also gonna be hanging both of them vertically on on top of the plant is that okay ?

I.did a diy carbon.filter out of some pen holders, a stocking, and carbon from the local fish store... it's pretty easy.. and I'm.into day 36 and no.smell outside my cab.. again just gives you an.idea.. hope this helps.. I made another fixture I did after this one.. il see if I can find my pic of that.. lays the bulbs horizontal.. giving more lighted.area..

Edit... found pic of other fixture I made.. again.. just an idea.. these are all 32w 6500k cfls. Also.. I didn't anything mentioned.. make sure your intake is 3 to 4 times bigger than your exhaust... that way the "airflow" will be flowing..

That is a really decent setup but for me i can't be drilling holes and all into my cab because my father would be pissed off if i were to do that. So i guess my only option is to have a fan inside the cab
