New Grower Questions on first setup and test of pictures

Can I set up a fan in this manner? As in the first pic,its sitting on top of the bottom of an airport in the corner. . .

Plus idk if I lost something to mouth the fan with but I'm cluless on how to mount the fan with these in the second pic
