wassup AFN thought i could get some input on this from you guys before i do anything..:D

alrite well basically you know the lil opening/sleeve that comes on grow tents at the bottom to put your inline fan in..well my fan fits good in it and its really strong so when i have plants close to that side of my tent its jus blasting the plant lol and im not able to maximize every inch of my tent like i would.

if i were to place my inline fan outside out the tent and just run some duct from the fan through that sleeve into my tent so the fans not just blasting the plants would air flow and CFM decrease very much? or will it be all good?

:cough:

How could your inline fan be blowing on your plants? Your not using it for air circulation are you. They should only be used for inline light cooling or smell exhaust.

As for your original question, that fan will move 240 cubic feet per minute whether its inside or outside your tent. That changes only with the voltage applied, which in your case is 120v.

so if thats for exhaust then whats this for..

i though i should have that silver fan blowing in and the green pulling air out?

You want negative air pressure inside the tent and I'd use the 400cfm with a carbon filter for exhaust... you can either have a passive air intake and use the silver fan to create airflow inside the tent or if you want to blow air into the tent you use the silver one for that. But then you'd have to get another fan to blow your ladies around...

I thought you had one of those higher volume inline blowers. That one can be used for air circulation and if you need more floor space just run a flex duck from the intake hole on your tent and go up the wall a little and hang the fan up off the floor pointed towards the plants. This should give you some more room.

thanks man, thats kinda what i did yesterday. :smokebuds:

i ran some duct from the intake hole then then connected it to my fan which is now sittin outside the tent on a small box. (i secured the fan so it doesnt just roll off) i now can point the duct that leads into my tent up a little so it just fills the tent with cool air and isnt just blasting some of the plants in its path :D
