So, I'm about to germ 1 of these bad boys! My only questions are... does the water I dampen the papertowl with have to be a Ph of 6? Also after a couple of hours do I need to re-dampen the papertown that will be in a plastic tuperware style carton, resting on a heating pad in my closet? Please advise!! Wanted to get this show on the road tonight!! Thanks.

what i do is moist a paper towel with 6.5 water!! but moist not drenched... put my seeds in there, cover the seeds with the moist towel i fold it in 4 parts. then put in a sandwich bag, with it being opened. Then I put in inbetween to plates and put it over my cable box in which is warm. Then check every 12 hours on them, only remoist the towel if its getting try.. The trick is moist and humid not wet..
How often do i water my seedling, once I put it in the net pot? I have a hydro drip system that I can set a time for 3 times a day for 30 mins? or 6 times a day for 30 mins? or whatever is needed? No nutes at first? or very very little? just for the 1st week... what do you think? Please advise!!
Soak it until it sinks and then put into a wet paper towel (Or towels- plural). Ph-ed water can't hurt. A lot of people use spring or distilled water. Keep the paper towel under a light proof container. A moderate heat source is a recombination. I like to germinate on top of a firdge that I have in a closet. Seems to work well. In your case, without ventilation in your cab yet, that would make for good moderate heat. I have found and people will argue me on this that 78-80 degrees is best. Check your seed every 6 hours and be ready to do the next step. Have it on on hand. Best of luck to ya!

Put seeds in a cup of tap water, and leave them there overnight and until they all sink to the bottom.
Then I cut a piece of white T-shirt (6x6 inches) Soak it in water, ball up the fabric in your hand and make a fist to squeeze out the water. Easy way to get the moisture right.
Fold it in half, put seeds in, Fold it again.
Put into a zip lock bag somewhere warm overnight and seeds will all be cracked with taproots pointing out.
Prepare my rockwool, or whatever you decide to use.
I then GENTLY put them about 1/8 to 1/4 deep into starter plug with the taproot pointing down.
Put the seed starters in ziplock bags, and I don't water after that. I usually see roots coming out within 2-3 days
Then it's time to put them into the system.
Pretty much a 100 percent success rate doing it this way.
You can do it however you want tho.

I soak the rockwool in water PH adjusted to 5.5. I'd probably soak the pucks you've got in 5.8 but that's just me.
Yes. I seal the bag, keep it warm and expose it to light. I open the bag once, or twice a day to get some fresh air in.
