Quick temp question

My tent stays around a cool 70 the whole day. Even when lights are on and off. I've read there should be a slight temp lower when lights go out for optimal growth. Is this true? Should I run a small heater when lights are on?

no need. rather try to lower the dark period temperature although I've read somewhere that when the night/day temperature is almost the same the plants tend to finish quicker.
and you will definitely avoid the unnecessary stretch when there is no big difference in day/night temps
