New to vapes. Budget $200+/- dry herb portable. I know the budget isn't much but I'm hoping it's enough to get me started.

Arizer Solo ... cost me 129 on ebay and has been trouble free for well over a year .... gets used 3-6 times a day ... kicks my ass !

Also check out the source vapes ghost portable dry herb vape.
I think it was like $90 with coupon code "dude"
Pretty stealthy too. Have not had mine very long but so far it does what it claims.

Its the only vape ive tried so i cant compare it to anything else.

this is all I use well, 99% of the time. I have two for when one battery dies, then I can switch and keep on puffing. I use it all day on the weekends and half the day weekdays. Flawless operation, great results and so easy to use. Everyone that has used mine has picked one up, so....

Ive just taken delivery of a Plenty, im amazed with it so far. Thick vapour, tastes beautiful

Portable, sorry just noticed that. Scratch what I said then, the Plenty aint portable. Stoner moment

Salutations,

New to vapes.

Then welcome to the house of mirrors! Globally speaking.

Budget $200+/-...

It's not as much about money than how vaporization is performed - e.g. instead of as much they can make you lend on a table... Nonetheless 250+ appears to be a base-line to access decent products these days.

...dry herb portable.

Dry herb is nice 'n easy using the proper tool, one problem is reluctance of a niche industry to pick some true speed instead of focussing on what already "worked" (for them, relentlessly, time and time again)!

In other words ask a manufacturer about their Release/Transport Agent at random, for example. It's a tag-expression of mine so it's to be expected when the reaction is « HEY? »... But once an explanation is provided you'll find there's still little or no answer coming, probably because for most of them such fundamentally basic item happens to be based on Hot Dry Air alone while a guy like me will only tolerate Hot Dry Air which has been previously "potentiated" by super-hot steam (e.g. water vapor) before heating a bowl... So, ultimately you'll find they have nothing to say about it.

...I'm hoping it's enough to get me started.

Actually that's plenty depending on your final selection (YMMV). Mine gives me the means to acquire multiple perspectives unatainable before... So lets say i'm sort of curious to see how lucky you'll end up on your side...

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

Are you looking for a battery or butane vape?

If your looking for butane checkout the vapcap from dynavap they're making some lovely peices, i've got the standard OG version and it puts out some lovely clouds of thick vapor. It has click mechanism so you don't over heat it and combust. Oh and the exotic wood versions are on my wish list.

As for battery operated, as others have said both the solo and air from arizer are solid conduction vapes, the air does have swappable batteries. They're not as portable as others though, boundless are making some good vapes they've just released the CFV which is a convection vape so you're gonna get some lovely flavour hits throughout the session.

I would also recommend purchasing from puffitup their customer service is outstanding, i think they do free delivery as well. Also use code puffedup for 15% off.

I hope this helps a bit or if you have anymore questions, i'll help the best i can.

Thanks to all. I will start out with the solo and see how I like it. I'll post up my thoughts on it after I have it for awhile.

i was tore between the solo or the haze v3 but ended up going with the haze. the solo is alot cheaper (in price not quality) and ive heard nothing but good things. vapornation has a promo code for 21% ( FC21 ) off so shop around. that makes the solo $145 or so
