Extraction Recommended dabbing rig and enail

If you would like to use a quartz banger heated with a torch and not sure about temperature they make some of these thermochromic ones you can check out. They are priced about $30 for a Chinese version to $250-300 for US made ones.

Thermochronic glass for vaping. Wow. Love seeing existing technology being leveraged in a new way.

I have 2 quartz enails, 2 titanium enails, 1 quartz for torch. My next 1 would like to try ceramic, I heard they dont last but have best flavor. I love collecting this shit, better than my shot glass collection lol.

I agree it's a bit of a dice roll with the enail controllers. I bought one that worked great for a while then just stopped turning on. If you flipped the switch a few times it would eventually go, but just frustrating. I was able to get a coil to fit the titanium enail that would work with one of the controllers from my rosin press, and that's been working like a champ.

If you go shopping for enail bits and pieces, an outfit called Highly Educated makes some nice, quality stuff. They're not cheap, but their titanium is good. Haven't tried their quartz to say how it is. Haven't compared to other brands, either, because this one just keeps on going and going and going and going. :smoking:

I find that key to enjoying it with an enail is having a good carb cap. Once I got the one from the same outfit that makes the nail and dish so it fit it right, it made a world of difference over the generic, pseudo fitting glass carb caps I'd picked up at the local head shops. With the lower temp dabbing going on compared to a torch nail, having the cap to make a nice little heated "vape chamber" as I put it really helps enjoy the process.

Carb cap also helps keep things cleaner. As the concentrates boil and vape off the nail, they can splatter little drips around if it's not contained. In that regard, I found the enail left the space around more drip and such free than using a torch rig did.

My HE stuff....

I have bunch of 3mm quartz bangers holds the heat pretty good. Just got a xxl 30mm flattop for use with insert and will have a a titanium coming that uses an obsidian insert.

Thanks for the heads up on the fitting for the nail and the cap. I would not have thought about that aspect. HE gear looks nice as well.
