Recycling My Rev's Soil.

I Guess it Works

well I guess I just wanted to note that my soil seems to be working fairly decent imo.Im growing Mephisto's Gear in it after close to a three month blend and decomposition of the roots back into the soil.but these plants were used with the soil as it sits now.so I may have to build it some slightly through flower, but we'll see.pretty happy with the results so far though.

epsom salt, bokashi EWC n all sorts of thing and Powdered Molasses too.but this batch should blend for no less than 6 months.prolly closer to a year to be honest.LOL!i still have a fresh batch id like to make for my Out door fast finishing gear I have this time round.

Well I thought id cover a cpl topics that ive seen recently round these parts..mixing bags of soil n so on. its easy for chem guys, lime ,perlite n a lil coco maybe n thats all you all really need. when it comes to organics is where it really stretches out in ideals n doings n so forth. for example a basic soup n soil grow could be as simple as a bag of Dr Earth or similar for example and add some lime,Casting,Bone meal n alfalfa meal with an inoculate and azomite(Or any decent rock dust) and mix n blend for a few weeks and some cal mag n fishy 5-1-1 n big bloom and kelp then Teas if you want but those are basic and a simple grow.you can use molasses Powdered n do so forth the same things as you would use in a tea from bokashi,Mycos,Humus n so on.Perlie.. but thats just one..it can also be as simple as

1 1.5cf bag of soil

2 added gallons or so of small regular perlite

1.5 gallons of castings

1/3 cup bonemeal

2/3 cup alfalfa meal

1/3 cup rounded of azomite or combo of rock dusts n so on.

1/2 rounded cup of Prilled or 2/3 cup powdered lime

another gallon of coco or spagnum peat moss.or another mellow organic soil or combo of that and zeolite(porous light rock for areation with good staying power and makes for a solid anchor for living organics too.not so much for soup but can be used. water that all in with 1.5 TBspoons molasses a few drops of a decent cal mag and a large dose of your WP's(myco like great white n so on) a small touch of fish and cruched eggshells and/or crabshells and mix that all up really realllly well ,especially if your using the powdered lime too.a combo of powder n prilled is best imho, and stick it in an open tote letting it slowly dry out mixing it every week or so for 3 weeks n then plug plant your pots assuming your soil is NOT toatlly dry.lightly lightly moist is key, then a solid seedling mix with big bloom..instant easy especially if your water is good too. or RO with cal mag n so on. that easy.you can get more involved ofcourse but imho thats your simple template. most bags of any soil these days NEEDS NEEDS NEEEDS to be worked even on a small level.theres almost nothing out there thatll give you a literal water only out of the bag with a GOOD safety piece of mind bout your PH n using water n so on. so you make yourself have that piece of mind by getting a few components mang.

anywho, pulling out all my totes tonight and getting to work so this will be third generation and second generation soil composting the roots n all that with a tea ill be making sometime tonight id think too since most of my soil is dry n I found asome small spects of green molds since ive been lazy some very small pieces will provide them other dormant and added to mycos some extra vigorous foods.too much green is baaad but this was lightly green.anywho off to smoke n goto work.ill keep you posted :Sharing One:

Thanks for sharing man...

I did a recycle from my last grow and threw it on the compost pile and let it cook and using it now with added coco and dr earth compost and a bit of perlite makes a nice light soil.

did amend with ewc, fish and kelp, bone meal rock dust and mycos then watered in a strong tea with plenty of molasses and earh juice calmag

And the Second

Hey no problem bro. Im just trying to help with the ppl with living organic mixes n such. well the chem side like i said can get more involved but its really a waste in a lot of cases since you cant recycle the soil as easily due to toxins n buildups that are easily buffered in a living mix of fair proportion. This soil has been used three times in the full bin and twice in the other more wet soil.and the one i just planted in was fresh soil with a solid many many month blending of foods n the like.:smoke:

I chop the roots up roughly an inch long:ama: or smaller.dry is good imo but ppl say wet is better,i disagree but either way it works well if left for a cpl months easy.ive had it work in 40 some odd days.then I added a cpl gallons of soil conditioner and mixed the roots up in that, then added well moistened soil thats been worked once.so ill need to moisten the soil little.but yeah a little though."Bailers Booya"

Then added my dry crushed eggshells.two full cups prolly.maybe a lil more then mixed it in with the little bit of stuff ok,:Sharing One:

then I added half the tote with the moist soil then topped it with several gallons of the drier(slightly moist deeper in) soil WITH dryer roots as well and added a cpl cups of castings,a few TBspoons of frass as well as my Endo mix,a cup of alfalfa meal as well as a few TBspoons of Powdered Molasses,as well as frass..so it wasnt a lot considering its going to be 30+ gallons of soil once Im done.Im taking a smoke break since I was kinda workin alot lmao!! but thats it man.thats all i had to do with this.well ill prolly go n get a half a cup of powdered lime tomm n throw that in there also just to help it out a wee bit.maybe some rice too since ill brew a tea to inoculate it well.anywho hope you get some use out of this along with many others.later.:smoke:

"AFN smoke out" :peace: :Hookah: Cheers all :tiphat: :smoke:
