Harvest & Curing relaxed and easy way to dry sieve.

Alright I've tried different ways to do this and here is a simple way and works extremely well.
regular coffee can and some screen - I used a piece of regular window screen, I know, keep reading.
I had ordered a piece 1 ft square of good fine mesh ( don't remember the mesh but I know it was bought for extracting trichs.
build a small frame, put 4 little legs to keep it off the glass and I put little rubber dots on the bottom of the legs, for noise mostly. Then double sided tape with some plastic I had,helps keep the loose stuff on the screen.
then I took one of those cheap massaging back pillows, tore out the vibrator and taped it to the side of the frame,the switch and battery compartment hang off the side.
fill the can about 1/3 full, turn on the vibrator, shake, tap, drum the can,holding it couple inches above the screen.,what ever trips your trigger.
I did it about 2 minutes each time.
the pile you see if from that one bag of shake and I didn't crush, grind or anything yet to the trim, just basicly whole leaves and such.
yeah man, nice yellow trichs and that was just the first run.
it actually worked great and I just sat on my ass shaking a coffee can around.
modifications in the future probably but it worked so damn well and I didn't feel like the bubble bag hassle.

I take my kief, put in a metal tube, press it in my bench vise, quick couple passes with a propane torch,press a little more,let cool.

Forgot to mention, trim is dry and frozen.
You could just use the vibrator but it takes a lot longer and the idea is keep trim frozen.

Yeah i think it worked great.
Thought about making a drum out of the
can and the screen.
And using the motor from an old rock tumbler.
Just didnt get around to it.
Its pretty good grade i think.definitely had to keep it cool before i pressed it.
Very little residue in my vape and very tasty i might add.

Im happy, i got just under 7 grams of nice clean hash Out of 2 baggies of trim.
That was 2 runs, now i'll take the trim and rinse in everclear to finish her up maybe tomorrow.

Damn fine idea! I saw on skunkpharm research they built a screen ontop of a big ass speaker, and just blasted tunes! Worked like a charm...lol!

I've got an old vibrating sander. Maybe I'll rest it on the screen and see what happens!

I tryed the sander bit. I had one attached to the side, the top, even had the whole setup suspended like your lights.
Didnt work this good.And quite loud.
Im really impressed with the amount and quality i got.did get a couple specks of plant matter along the edges but just scoop that up and put back thru the screen. Ha ha.

Gee.......if I can stop gardening for a few minutes, I'll make another batch! Actually, I want to re-sift the first batch thru a finer screen.

That some good looking kief! I love hash better than anything, I use to buy a lot of it in those long ago days......... lol!

yes sir, me too. love hash.
well I'm getting better anyway. I got 9 1/2 oz.and 7 gram hash and still have to either bubble bag or everclear the trim.
not bad for 1 plant in a itty bitty cabinet.
just looking at my candy kush today, I gave her 2 major trimmings so far and today I come to the conclusion she's gonna be big, shes half way up the cabinet now and not flowering yet at 6 weeks I think.
Granted 1 week of root rot and recovery but she sure is looking healthy, dang stump is the dia. of a nickel already.
whew, smoking hash all day scince 8 am, raining out so hash making time.
got to admit, this blueberry rider is a really nice taste and head high, and she was well ambered.
