I got a response from Attitude seedbank and they didn't mention at all that they have another website where i can make payments.

This is the response in full :

"Hi there
Our payment system is temporarily unable to accept card payments online.
Here are the payment methods you can use for the time being:

  1. Visa card payments over the phone ( NOT on the website )
  2. Cash payments ( to be sent to our PO BOX )
  3. Bitcoin ( at the checkout )

If you are ready to pay with your Visa you can give us a call on 0044 1473 724 698 during our UK opening hours, Monday to Friday 8.30 AM – 4.30 PM .
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Many Thanks
Morgana @ The Attitude"

So, no mention of a different website.

I know that Yodabuds ordered from the "new" site, after calling the 'Tude to see if it's legit- it is, according to their phoncon. And, He got his beans :)
I expect the 'Tude is keeping its distance for the new site- I mean, they put it up and created a separate payment portal. That's nothing I'd advertise, as they clearly don't want to lose that payment ability, again..
I'll PM Yoda, to confirm, and maybe he can pipe in.
It looks like its legit. It looks like they're trying to keep it so :) :Sharing One:

the fact that the new site take's your login info from the tude, tell's you it is legit!

I paid with my visa last week? It's credit cards they cannot accept...

I know that some companies won't do transactions for cannabis-related businesses, apparently this is screwing with a lot of the legal med growers in the US because it's hard to find banking.

Its a tricky thing, but from my understanding it's the big companies MasterCard and visa that are the problem.

although what you're doing might be legal, seed sales in the UK for example, is totally above board hence so many big distributors being based there. However the credit card companies have a naughty list of items/areas they see as immoral, and therefore if they know what you are doing can stop providing their service.

in the UK banks will actively look for and freeze accounts they find for seed related things, so a lot of UK companies have now set up mirror businesses in spain where banks will turn a blind eye, however visa and MasterCard cottoned on to this and it's now much more difficult to find banks here as I guess they come under pressure and it's a ball ache for them.

most now will have to use a third party for processing which I'm sure is more discreet but you take a bigger hit in the % you pay for this
service on transactions.

when seedbanks lose their processing, it really cripples them as I believe about 90% of orders come through credit/debit cards.

Can't believe that I stumbled on this thread Mitch. I've run in to this recently when trying to buy some colored beans from another vendor. I got a real strange response in the middle of the transaction saying something like 'this type of transaction is not allowed"... I thought it was something I was doing...

So... I guess I'll have to use money wire through my bank. This is something I do all the time to send money to the islands so I'm used to it...

Gotta love your method of processing...
