I really don't care for my Crafty for many reasons, but the battery life is a big one. I have the Solo and the Air. The Air doesn't hold a charge as long as the Solo, but it has an extra battery. I love to camp and go on day trips, so something that holds a charge is a must. The external glass pieces are probably the only negative so the Ascent sounds like a good alternative.

If my current grow is successful ( it's a big IF ) I will reward myself with an Ascent

I must say, battery life is great with my Ascent! We hit it several times a day and it will go 2-3 days for us! I can no longer judge my mighty because I discovered its a counterfeit. But it doesn't matter, my 2 Davinci vaporizers are my go to pieces. I will relegate the Mighty to my travel vape, as its no big loss if it comes to that!

You aren't missing anything by having a counterfeit Mighty. My Crafty is the real deal and the heating element went out after 3 months. The Solo and Air can only die by water...I've done that twice

If you are looking for a travel vape I would suggest the Solo and Air because they look like electric toothbrushes. They have worked for me no problem

You know, for stealth the Pax series is interesting, too bad mine is a piece of shit! I hate the damn thing! I personally would never buy another!

Good to know about the Pax. I've never used one, but I have a friend who loves them. I'm nervous about vaping hot plastic,I just don't think it's a good idea.

poke a pinhole in a soda bottle cap. screw it onto an empty bottle. then try to suck the air out.......... HOT air. With the standard top, it would burn my lips!

A little update:

The Ascent is still going strong! 6 months of heavy use by two people and occasinally several friends hitting it too! Battery life has not diminished at all that
I can tell. Still works like new! I killed the original Davinci........ I plugged it into the wrong charger and killed the battery!

Got to say, its still my favorite!
